What is the age gap between you and your partner?

Had a conversation with a friend about how age gaps seem far more rare these days, compared to in the past. People mainly seem to be marrying people within a couple of years of their age. Purely anecdotal. Just made me curious!

15 years and 15 days

8years

My DH is 20 years older than me

OH 13 months older than me

5 years.

DH is two and a half years older than me.

6 whole days

My lovely husband is 5 years older than me. Met when I was 18 and he was 23 and we have 5 kids together and been married since then too, we married 3 months after meeting. I'm now 33 and he's 38!

There was a 9 year gap between my parents

And a 3 year gap between maternal grandparents!

Met at 18 ( him 20) been together 30 years this year.

Nearly three years.

Two years an one week. His birthday is literally seven days after mine. DM usually gets us joint gifts. but I have been with someone who was 20 years older, and while I've got no issue with what other people do, dating older men isn't for me personally

I'm older by a year and 12 days

5 1/2 years - he's older.

5 years between mil and fil.

My parents plus all our siblings would have all been in the same school year as their partners so generally less than 6 months difference.

DP is ten years older than me (30 and 40).

I’ve never dated anyone more than a 2-3 years different to my age. DH is 2.5 years older than me.

I am 8.5 years older than my partner. We've been together 4 years. Before that I was with my ex husband for 20 years and I was 6 months older.

Mine is 14 years old than me.

DH is 2 years and 9 months older than me.

We met when I was 19 and he was just about to turn 22. We were students then. We've now been married for 26 years and have three adult DDs. No grandchildren as yet.

DH is 7 years older than me.
