What is the age gap between you and your partner?

Had a conversation with a friend about how age gaps seem far more rare these days, compared to in the past. People mainly seem to be marrying people within a couple of years of their age. Purely anecdotal. Just made me curious!

What’s funny is DH and I got married at 25. My brother is also the same age as his fiancée and they are getting married this year at 25.

Apparently it’s a good age for a wedding in our family

Myself DSIs and DM all married at 24

10 years, I'm older than him. We've been together for 24 years.

Dp is 21yrs older than me

DH is 9 months older then me.

21years here. DH is older than me. We'll be celebrating our silver wedding anniversary in a few months.

He's 14 years older

My late DH was 34 years older than me. My late DP was 17 years older than me..
My friend at my wedding said everyone had given up on me finding someone so they gave me to the SAS... (DH was formerly in!!)

I was engaged to someone 7 years older than me a long long time ago.

DH is 3 years younger than me. Ex DH was 5 years older than me. Age not ever an issue.

7 years. I always though 5 years was average tbh.

Dh is 6 years older.

Biggest age gap I ever had in the past was 35 years - I was 25 and he was 60. It was a massive amount of fun - 6 exhilarating months. It was decadent and exciting, and I’ll always look back on it very fondly indeed. He was absolutely gorgeous - the archetypal suave, handsome, experienced older man. God he looked good in a dinner suit. MmmmMMMMMM.
