I've had a rubbish few weeks (hasn't everyone?!) So today I decided to do something relaxing whilst ds2 was napping. I drew this for my sister's birthday and will probably make it into a card. I haven't drawn in a long time and no longer have my usual art supplies so had to use ds1 crayons Grin
Come and show me something that you're proud of, I'd love to see it or hear about it!

Exciting! What's your book about ?

ScottishStottie · 15/02/2021 13:20

@stitchingGirl yep its pandemic!

Colour im using is DMC 796, love the richness of the blue without it being too dark! Started it at the beginning of December so slow progress but enjoying it!

@StitchingGirl

Oh wow, so many amazing artists! I so wish I could draw. I can’t so I stick to cross stitching instead! This is my latest cross stitch finish and the biggest thing I've ever stitched.
That's lovely x

I have just turned 60 and without a maths qualification to my name (although a degree and masters) so have just started a GCSE maths course to prove I can do it. It's enjoyable but challenging and I am in awe of all your 14-16 year olds Grin

Yes @squashyhat! What an inspiration! I had to retake GCSE maths in my late 20s and really enjoyed it as I could learn at my own pace. Have fun! Flowers

My baby’s cardigan. Took me months! She’d better bloody fit in it! Now working on a hat- need it finished by induction date of 8/3.

Ahh, congratulations, how are you feeling? That is a beautiful cardigan. It's such a sense of achievement to make something and see them wear it. Well done! Have some of these Flowers

I love this thread, thank you OP. Sick of hearing doom and gloom it’s lovely to see everyone’s creativity. I’ve started a photography course after years of wanting to do it but not having the time or access to. I’m loving the whole experience of learning something new. Here’s a photo from the weekend.

Lovely thread!

I've been teaching myself to sew. I'm not good yet, but I'm proud of myself for learning how to do a couple of things.

I have recently learned how to crochet (well one stitch!) and have made a throw and a cushion. Very chuffed.
