Both of mine are on a break for the next 20 minutes.

DS (8) is in his wellies, coat, gloves etc. standing in a bucket of very icy water in the garden, eating half a mango and trying to catch snow flakes.

DD (15) is still in her pyjamas Blush and making fruit salad. She has done her lessons this morning but sees no point in getting dressed to go no where.

I'm bribing my ds today as school work is not going great.
If he can do an hour of science this morning we can go and get a mc Donald's for lunch and get some ice cream from Aldi. He needs alot of incentive.
Might try and get him in the shower too as it's been a few days!

toomuchfaster · 09/02/2021 10:44

DD(6) is dressed and doing school work. We went for a stomp in the pitiful snow early this morning and it's all melted now so I'm glad we did.

ChonkyChook · 09/02/2021 10:46

Older two are homeschooling. The little one is napping. It's very quiet so I'm half watching some work, half browsing the net.

Mine are asleep in bed (Australia).

Friendless00 · 09/02/2021 10:49

DS 17 & 13 are working in their bedrooms and DD 12 is doing a workout set by her PE teacher....
I’ve escaped upstairs to clean the bathrooms/lay on my bed scrolling MN as I can’t stand listening to the ‘dance monkey’ song that her PE teacher puts in the background of EVERY workout Angry

Although that’s a minor annoyance and they’re all working hard, so I’m happy Smile

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 09/02/2021 10:50

One is doing fractions
The other is searching her hovel for her headphones.

Im also counting the hours until DHs test comes back as he keeps asking me what he can do (or work finds him a laptop!)

Charles11 · 09/02/2021 10:50

They’re in live lessons. Dressed and presentable, especially dd who has interactive sessions so her class and teacher see each other.
Break time soon when they’ll be raiding the kitchen.

Hibernatingnation · 09/02/2021 10:53

Online with his pals, about to get ready and go out sledging as we've had some epic snow overnight. School hols here.

TheInvigilator · 09/02/2021 10:58

DSD 12 is on a break, she's playing with DS 2, but shes back on with a french lesson in twenty minutes. So, I'll get DS to help me in the kitchen so he doesn't bother DSD.

TheInvigilator · 09/02/2021 10:58

And all three of us are still in Pjs.

LizBennet · 09/02/2021 10:59

One is leaping all over the front room half watching Thomas and Friends, the other is still in bed.

Proudpeacock · 09/02/2021 11:00

In PJ's building a moon base from lego. He has done some school work this morning and will negotiate another chunk before lunch.

TheGonnagle · 09/02/2021 11:01

Dressed, on an English lesson until lunchtime.

CoodleMoodle · 09/02/2021 11:04

DD is nearly 7 and has just finished telling me a made up story. She talked nonstop for 35mins. We've done some homeschooling, she did a bit of Lego... and then she started talking. I did listen at the start! And now she's started doing another story and I'm losing the will to live.

We're off to pick DS (2.5) up from preschool in half an hour. He'll come home and start talking incessantly as well.

Mine is just finishing a biology lesson and has French next. I'm in a zoom meeting and have just had a text from her asking if I want Crunchy Nut cornflakes too when she goes to make some in the break.

Freshprincess · 09/02/2021 11:06

Online classes till 2pm.

Lolly34h · 09/02/2021 11:07

My son 15 is doing his maths one to one. The 18yeqr old dd is doing her online college lesson in hairdressing. The toddler is watching CBeebies in bed unwell and I'm in the bath

spiderlight · 09/02/2021 11:09

DS (13) is doing a maths lesson on Mathswatch, which he will probably race through as quickly as possible so he can go back to building Scandinavia on Minecraft until his RE live lesson this afternoon.

tatutata · 09/02/2021 11:09

DS7 is playing chess with me whilst DS5 tries to whack him over the head with a light saber. Dd2 is pouring game pieces from multiple games all over the carpet and mixing them up.

cherrypop86 · 09/02/2021 11:10

Eldest is upstairs doing live lessons on his laptop. Younger three are eating biscuits playing on the ipad and fighting over a toy. Two of them were just screaming their heads off. About to do school work with one of them.

Reinventinganna · 09/02/2021 11:11

In lessons while in bed. He doesn’t usually but it’s cold!

abikeindividual · 09/02/2021 11:12

DS2 is playing with his toys and CBeebies is on. He's getting bored now and has started throwing his toys. Lunch soon then the best time of the day..nap time!

mangocoveredlamb · 09/02/2021 11:13

Mine (4/6) are beating the living day lights out of each other. Little one is usually at nursery so big one is used to having my focus during the day! I reminded why little one goes to nursery.

MisiSam · 09/02/2021 11:14

Ds 21 months is having peanut butter on toast and watching pj masks , we've already been out this morning. Not sure what to do for the rest of the day.

DeathMetalMum · 09/02/2021 11:15

7&9 One is finishing maths, the other is just starting English. They constantly stop and talk to each other and getting them to actually concentrate on their own work sometimes can be a nightmare. I was hoping to go for our walk this morning, but it will have to be after lunch now.
We don't have live lessons just live registration. Some lessons are pre-recorded, but most days they tend to be doing school work much longer than the actual school day.
