Both of mine are on a break for the next 20 minutes.

DS (8) is in his wellies, coat, gloves etc. standing in a bucket of very icy water in the garden, eating half a mango and trying to catch snow flakes.

DD (15) is still in her pyjamas Blush and making fruit salad. She has done her lessons this morning but sees no point in getting dressed to go no where.

Lunch and TV.

Peanut butter sandwiches and apple juice.

My standards have slipped massively!!! I did cut some cucumber and tomatoes for the baby (she had avocado on toast!)

I have an online appt in half an hour as well but then I will get back to homeschooling.

refusing to watch the video about non chronological writing and expecting me to give her the answer...whilst I am attempting to do my work and failing miserably..

I would hope they are doing school work but I am at work so they are with my DM.

It's 1pm now. Ds (yr6) is on his class zoom lesson. Dd (yr8) is on lunch break, she's gone up to her room to relax a bit.

Hangingtrousers · 09/02/2021 13:01

4 year old in a onsie on the slide in the living room watching Masha and the bear.

7 year old in pjs not sure what she's doing... I'm about to make her do geography.

1 year old is asleep thankfully after a morning of mayhem.

borageforager · 09/02/2021 13:02

My Y8 is still doing her schoolwork.

Y4 and Reception are playing some game where she’s a horse & they are going to football...?!

DinosApple · 09/02/2021 13:12

Playing on the iPad and getting dressed.
They've been at school everyday as they're in the keyworker scheme, but we're all snowed off. A couple of days doing very little is just what they need.

Notcontent · 09/02/2021 13:15

14 year old is having her lunch break. Showered and dressed every morning as lessons are with the camera on so she needs to/wants to look presentable!

MrsBerthaRochester · 09/02/2021 13:19

Oldest was up for an online college class. He is now mooching about the kitchen. Teenage daughter still in bed after being up to stupid o clock on her phone. Youngest is watching tosh on YouTube. School holb here, thank god.

barnanabas · 09/02/2021 13:34

12yr olds both in an online lesson. Still in PJs. One in furious bad mood because we have no snow. Both with windows wide open so they don't miss the snow if it arrives.

14yr old on phone with a friend. Back in PJs after we went out for a very chilly dog walk once she'd finished schoolwork.

troppibambini6 · 09/02/2021 13:36

6 and 7 year old are watching camp cretatious, they've just finished home school for the day.
10 year old also just finished but about to go online with tutor for exam prep
15 year old is online homeschooling. Her school work is full on (Y11) and she's at her desk all day 8.45-3.45 with a 40 min lunch break.

I can't wait for them to go back so I can go back to being mum instead of a teacher.

Opia90 · 09/02/2021 14:05

painted some pebble pets!

ineedaholidayandwine · 09/02/2021 14:07

4yr old playing with the cat. She's done all her main school work this morning, just crafts left where she needs to make a giraffe.
She's spent a lot of time out in the snow

Ds13 - PS4 and phone chat with friends

DS10 - iPad / YouTube

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 09/02/2021 14:20

Bouncing on the trampoline in the snow!

Equimum · 09/02/2021 14:22

5 year old is watching Numberbloks, which allows me to pretend he is doing school work.

8 year old is using Scratch on the laptop. (See above)

Chasingsquirrels · 09/02/2021 14:23

18yo, not up yet - they are on a "progress checks" week and he has booked all of his for tomorrow.

louisejxxx · 09/02/2021 14:25

Ds10 is following along and art lesson and sketching something, DD8 is on her daily class teams meeting playing some sort of game...she’ll have finished school work for the day when she comes off.

MackenCheese · 09/02/2021 14:54

OK, so I'm the only parent with ds13 and dd11 who are in their pyjamas, messing about on their phones, chatting to friends and running around the house? No schoolwork or online lessons done all week! Oh well, it's just us then!! 😂 😂

MsAwesomeDragon · 09/02/2021 14:57

Mine is slouched on the sofa reading a book. She's not feeling well so we agreed that she can ignore the school work today, but I said screens would make her headache worse so a book might be something nice to do that won't hurt her head. So she's reading "war horse" as a treat 😂 (I wouldn't call it a treat, it's very sad!!). She's 10.

TheRaccoons · 09/02/2021 15:02

DS(6) has finished his schoolwork and is now playing Fruit Ninja on his tablet while DH and I are wfh. He’s trying to beat my fruit combo record

ScrapThatThen · 09/02/2021 15:05

Dd1 year 12 is doing a test, dd2 year 11 is probably stressing out silently because she's not really coping any more. Sad

Sparklehead · 09/02/2021 15:06

Mine are all currently watching tv, as am I. I’ve had to take a day off from work (hospital) as key worker school is closed due to snow. The younger 2 (7 and 9) very reluctantly did their set home learning, in between fighting and playing in the snow and with me supervising every bit. My Y7 DD had online live lessons until 2.45. We’re all a bit lethargic now, although feel I should get them outside for a bit before it’s dark,

Juanbablo · 09/02/2021 15:10

Ds1 is on a live tutor session with school. Dd and ds1 are on their way home from school. Dh and I just got home from work.
