I'll only remove my shoes if I'm given something clean to wear on my feet. Totally unreasonable to expect otherwise.

I’m sorry, English isn’t my first language so I’m not great at expressing myself in writing.

Sorry Simon, I didn't realise this & didn't mean anything about your English (which is absolutely fine!), more my own lack of comprehension.

Now I understand!! Brand new information for me 😀

waitrosetrollydolly · 28/01/2021 19:09

Having a panic room and a whole floor apartment for security staff ?

Torvi · 28/01/2021 19:09

We have a tortoise in the kitchen

Nah it’s fine, don’t worry.

Verbally my English is brilliant, my writing however is crap, it won’t be your comprehension 😂

My house bunny sleeps in bed with me - he is extremely clean and fully house trained - everyone I know finds it funny 🐇
Amazing 😊how did you train him?
twinklespells · 28/01/2021 19:11

No bins except small ones with lids near the toilets and a kitchen bin.

I have a dog who likes to eat tissues and wrappers and all sorts. It's not possible to have waste paper type bins.

@SimonJT, I was about to ask @santabetterwashhishands if they were stuck on with Velcro. I used to have a work station with coloured drawers and a finish tray for activities in the dining room. My DS is 21 now, though, and doesn’t need them. Smile

My Lego is displayed everywhere. I collect vintage and quirky sets

Belladonna123 · 28/01/2021 19:12

@CMOTDibbler

I currently have a house chicken too (she got injured and needs to be segregated for wound cleanliness). She's sitting next to me on the sofa atm after coming and demanding her digestive biscuit snack.
I love this 😂 I have..... 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 bunnies and a hamster 😳a lot of work but I love it!

We have fifteen clocks. All except the alarm clock are antique ones that all chime & strike, all the hours & some that chime each quarter hour.

Grenlei · 28/01/2021 19:13

We didn't have any doors for about 3 years, not even on the bathroom.
It's now only the lounge that has no door.

We have a projector but no screen (apparently that's odd! It's a white wall so we didn't see the need).

We have 2 sinks in one of the bathrooms neither of which can be used.

Howcanwehelp · 28/01/2021 19:14

Dh and I go up the same time as the children (8:30 to 9), we have a telly in our room and like to chat and relax up there. When we lived in our flat many years ago we lived in the bedroom as it was the only room with heating and never got out of the habit. It's comfy up here!

FineWhiteBread · 28/01/2021 19:15

I have two staircases. People always comment on it, but I hadn’t thought that was unusual?

IHaveBrilloHair · 28/01/2021 19:16

I have a single bed.
I have a crisp cupboard and also a cheese drawer in the fridge which are always well stocked.

ShirleyPhallus · 28/01/2021 19:17

When l shower, I put conditioner in my hair, step out the shower and brush my teeth naked before getting back in the shower to rinse conditioner out

Why don’t you just take the toothbrush in to the shower with you?

Flowerythoughts · 28/01/2021 19:17

@PandemicAtTheDisco thanks for the info & the link. There’s a fair bit of concrete in the gardens near us so I’m keen to balance it out, even if I’m only able to do just a little bit. I discovered a visiting hedgehog in the autumn so want to attract as much nature as I can. Thank you.

Belladonna123 · 28/01/2021 19:17

@spiderlight

A regular job in our house is sloth redistribution. Our dog is obsessed with cuddly toys and for reasons too ridiculous to repeat, we have got ourselves into a situation where he collects sloths. He has to have a teddy to carry with him on all significant occasions, such as getting up in the morning or going to his food bowl, which means that we accumulate piles of stuffed sloths in the kitchen and on his downstairs bed and periodically have to sneak half a dozen or so back upstairs when he's not looking (if he sees you trying to take them upstairs he will mug you and bring as many as he can carry back down).
😂😂😂

I have a Theremin in the living room.

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 28/01/2021 19:19

I would love to see a pic of the sloth loving dog. He sounds fab!

AnnaMagdalena · 28/01/2021 19:20

We have vents in the floor which puff hot air out, so as not to ruin our lovely Georgian house with radiators.

I hate the bastarding things.

ScrapThatThen · 28/01/2021 19:20

For some reason teens hairbrushes and straighteners live permanently on the mantelpiece and hearth in the front room.

I have a small recording studio in the corner of my living room.

Aww how cute. I'd be terrified if squishing him!
