As a side with pasta dish.

Just that 🙂

3 but I admit if DSS isn't here, DP and I still manage to polish it off!

NellyJames · 26/01/2021 15:52

2 for the 5 of us! None left over; ever! 🙈🐷

lockeddownandcrazy · 26/01/2021 15:52

half each 0f a baguette for adults, teens 1 each

movingonup20 · 26/01/2021 15:53

Should add, controversially I prefer flat bread instead, dp does not agree, about the only thing we disagree on, oh and that pineapple juice is refreshing (he hates it)

Fufumuji · 26/01/2021 15:53

Between one and six people.

OhMsBeliever · 26/01/2021 15:54

I do 2 for 6 of us, 3 adults, 3 teens. I too have one that likes the end bits. So he usually gets them all as no one else is that keen on them. And the rest is shared out.

Squiffany · 26/01/2021 15:54

3 adults.

SusannahSophia · 26/01/2021 15:55

3 now all the kids are adults. It used to do 4 of us. I’m happy having the end bits, though.

LadyCatStark · 26/01/2021 15:55

3 begrudgingly.

ChristopherTracy · 26/01/2021 15:55

4 and still the ends wont get eaten. It is two/three pieces for the kids, DH wont touch bread as CARBS and I might have a sneaky one.

Now if its the Dominoes Garlic bread, that's a different story.

Gobbeldegook · 26/01/2021 15:56

Just me Blush

Twobrews · 26/01/2021 15:56

I do one between 4 adults and 2 children, it's a bit stingy probably but two is too much.

Lucieintheskye · 26/01/2021 15:57

If it's a baguette with 8 slices- 4. There's no way DH and I could polish one off between us when having spag bol with it. We usually snap a frozen one in half.

Fizbosshoes · 26/01/2021 15:57

probably 2-3 of us if with pasta but i remember DS eating nearly a whole one for lunch when he was about 2!! Blush

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 26/01/2021 15:57

I do 2 for 5 of us but if i was just cooking for either me and DP or just for the 3 kids then 1 would do

20viona · 26/01/2021 15:57

I break in half and make it last 2 meals so 4.

SquishySquirmy · 26/01/2021 15:57

We normally do one between 3 of us (2 adults and a 7yr old), but occasionally will do 2 between 3.
Tbh, I thought we were very restrained sharing 1 between 3 because it never feels like enough! I could happily eat a whole one by myself and would do were it not for the need to exercise self restraint. I love garlic bread!
So I'm quite surprised by the responses on here, I thought our garlic bread portions would be smaller than average but it seems most people share it between more.

Boringnamechanging · 26/01/2021 15:57

With pasta 1 would do dh, i and 2 small children. With pizza we'd do 2 garlic bread.

Squiffany · 26/01/2021 15:57

@Robbybobtail

Oh sorry, just saw you said with pasta - I wouldn’t have bread and pasta!
You’d only ever see this on MN.
LagneyandCasey · 26/01/2021 16:00

If we have it with pasta one baguette will serve 4 of us - approx 2 slices each. Dh and I both have an end because dcs complain about those Hmm.

With soup we will have one baguette between 2 of us.

Directionerforever · 26/01/2021 16:02

Haha I know @Squiffany. What else would you eat garlic bread with?!

Oh and if I’m having lasagne I’ve been known to have chips with it as well!! Shoot me now.

IHaveBrilloHair · 26/01/2021 16:02

I snap off a third for just me, when Dd was still at home I'd cook the whole thing between us, and she'd finish off what was left later in the evening.

Nowayhozay · 26/01/2021 16:04

3, but there are only 3 of us in the household.

PointBreakOrBadBoys2 · 26/01/2021 16:04

YY to baked beans being equally annoying re: serving size!

wejammin · 26/01/2021 16:05

Between 5 of us (2 adults 3 kids) I always do 2, my 6 yo DS could eat a whole one to himself and 2 yo DS also loves it so if I did 3 it would probably still get eaten (and no, we aren't obese before anyone comments)
