How many people does one standard garlic baguette serve in your house?

There are 5 of us, 1 garlic bread would do 4. If I do one there's not enough but with 2 there is loads left over.

I have a crumb, and even then I feel quite greedy

2 but 17 year old ds will eat one by himself so I always buy a twin pack.

Two adults and two children, I usually cut the ends into an extra slice and butter them as bonus extra bits 😁

Two usually. But that's a generous portion. Between three not quite enough.

There's 6 of us and we'd do one but everyone's a lot less fidgety and antsy when we do two. Also only do with pasta dishes, put 2 on with a lasagne and you're seen as the best ever!!!

There are 9 slices so 2 each and a spare end that gets sneaked DS1s way cause I know how much he loves it

2 but it’s often not fully eaten in one go, there are only two of us. I eat two or three slices (always an end bit) and whether it gets finished off depends on how hungry my husband is.

Two, but only because there's two of us in the house and it wouldn't make another meal so it's just easier to eat the whole thing plus Dp is a fiend for garlic bread. If we had three in the house it would stretch to three.

Last night we had lasagne, chips AND garlic bread
We always have this!! And it's generally a weekend night thing so we'll drink a fizzy drink with it!! Some day over the next few nights after we have rice, fish and water so we can feel we've evened it all out

We like to use sourdough bread which we toast, then scrub a garlic clove over the toasted surface and spread some good salted butter on it. Delicious on its own, with some winter salad

I suppose the question is how many slices each? Someone just said there are 9 in the baguette. I'd think 3 slices each is decent portion and 2 each is acceptable if it is a full meal and the garlic bread is just an extra. Bit disappointing to get 2 and 1 is the end though!

Depends if you want to pig out and have a big treat (lots of big eaters woukd manage a whole one) or whether it's just a small side with ana otherwise decent meal.

A full sized naan woukd always be shared between 2 in this house if there was a very small portion of rice. If lots of rice we would share a naan between 3.

Only 2 in our house eat it....tends to be with pizza. I break a frozen one in half for them to share - means 2 or 3 slices each. That's with adult eating a full pizza and teen eating half. Would also have lots of carrot sticks etc....seems a decent meal to me. And given most people eat it with other carbs, huge amounts don't seem needed, but I get that it's very moreish

Although if you don’t make your own sourdough with a mix containing natural Swiss glacier water, and churn your own butter from your organic designer cows, then to be honest, you’re absolutely revolting and may as well be eating actual SHIT anyway
