Every morning I'm woken up because I need a wee Angry

It would usually be an alarm clock before I started working from home.

Chalkcheese · 22/01/2021 08:39

On good days my alarm clock. Although I keep sleeping through that at the moment

Woodlandbelle · 22/01/2021 08:40

Dc running down the hall

TimeIHadSomeTimeAlone · 22/01/2021 08:41

Wee for me too, usually at an inconvenient time like 6:00, too early to get up but too late to bother trying to get back to sleep.

spottygymbag · 22/01/2021 08:43

"Mama mama mama" coming from DS's room (10months)
Or
"DADDYYYYYYY I NEED A WEEEEEE" coming from DD's room (which then wakes DS so it's swiftly followed by "mama mama")
Or very very occasionally I'm woken up by an eery silence because somehow both kids and DH have all slept deeply and peacefully and it's just too quiet.

Dreams
Peri menopause
The dog scratching around

The fluffy alarm clock that came with no instructions and goes off every morning at 5:30am.

Ginfordinner · 22/01/2021 08:48

DH bringing me a cup of tea.
Or the alarm clock on work days.

My 6 year old still does this. Its really bloody annoying now 😡
limesoda · 22/01/2021 08:51

We have our radio and a bedroom light programmed to come on (just after a news bulletin so it's a whole until the next one)

I must say, it's a lovely way to wake up.

the80sweregreat · 22/01/2021 08:53

A full bladder usually.

Tickly · 22/01/2021 08:54

The baby. Definitely. It would be the bladder but as I've already been up in the night that's been dealt with 🤣

EmmaJR1 · 22/01/2021 08:55

This everyday... sometimes at 3am at the moment 😡

LadyOfTheFlowers · 22/01/2021 08:58

The dog - who needs a wee

MolyHolyGuacamole · 22/01/2021 09:01

My 3 alarms followed by Alexa which I've set to turn all the lights on bright and play the news 😂

I struggle to wake in the mornings

CoodleMoodle · 22/01/2021 09:02

In order of preference:
Alarm on my phone (not the weekends)

DD6 coming in and throwing her chosen teddy on my bed and IMMEDIATELY talking in my face

DS2 singing in his cot (this one getting earlier and earlier, hence being my least favourite)

I will do anything to stay in bed for five more minutes. Absolutely anything.

CoronaCurls · 22/01/2021 09:02

The cats demanding chunks in jelly and a wee.

NotExactlyMrsCurrentAffairs · 22/01/2021 09:06

Next door neighbour coughing, every fucking day, morning and night Angry

ABitOfAShitShow · 22/01/2021 09:09

Anxiety.

It used to be my bladder or my alarm. Those were the days...

Kim82 · 22/01/2021 09:09

My youngest is 6.5 now and loves her sleep so she very rarely wakes me up - I have to wake her on school days, she is not a morning person and she grabs the iPad and gets back into bed at the weekend. Other dc are teens so don’t surface before 11am. It’s usually my alarm that wakes me (or dh’s) through the week, although mostly this week I’ve woken naturally 10-15 minutes before it. At weekends it’s usually my bladder waking me up or dh making the noisiest cup of tea ever in the kitchen! He’s not a naturally quiet person...

Pipandmum · 22/01/2021 09:11

The need to make sure my kids are awake for school/college. And a wee!

Spanielmadness · 22/01/2021 09:22

A wee or my alarm, which I ignore........ DP brings me a cup of tea....... at the moment I stay in bed for ages as there’s little to get up for and my dog will happily sleep until mid-morning.

Spanielmadness · 22/01/2021 09:22

Thinking about getting up now.......
