What wakes you up in the morning?

Every morning I'm woken up because I need a wee Angry

It would usually be an alarm clock before I started working from home.

What wakes you up?

If DW isn't in bed by 1am, then I either wake up cos she's not there or I'm woken up by the cat tapping my face because DW isn't in bed and he wants me to go and get her (when he does this, DW is usually asleep on the sofa)
At about 6.30 I wake up because the cat is curled up on top of the duvet behind my legs and I can't roll over.
I used to love waking up to the radio though, I might do that again.

My dog, who is nearly 15. He's started waking up early and won't go back to his own bed so I have him snuffling and fidgeting after that. It's been 5am for a few days but today was 1:40 Hmm of. Of course now he's dozing peacefully ... I haven't the heart to keep prodding him awake during the day.

Usually ds. "Mummy, here!"

@BikeRunSki @JumboShiitake
OK here goes, an experiment because it is a very shortened version, so I'll be interested to know if it helps at all.

First massage the circled area gently with your thumb, both feet a couple of minutes max.

Then take something small with a round tip eg a match and put the match head on the arrow marked area on the Right foot - put a little pressure on (the corner of your pinky nail then a couple of milimeters below the actual nail) hold the match head in this spot for 1 minute (if you hit the right spot it will give a burning sensation). Then you massage both your feet up and down the inner bone, marked with arrows. Do so for a minute.

You should see a difference within three days, if no change try again on the third day.

Let me know any progress Smile.

@WinterdiscontentGlorioussummer, I guess I do this at bedtime? DH is going to think I’ve completely lost the plot, but hey ho. Smile

22 year old cat yowling for brekkies

WinterdiscontentGlorioussummer · 23/01/2021 21:24

No not at bedtime, better during the day. It's not an instant fix and needs time to work.

MsSquiz · 23/01/2021 21:26

My 13 month older DD shouting "hiya" as she bangs her dummy off the side of her cot, 6am, every morning!

And I love it! Grin

Howmercurialislife · 23/01/2021 21:28

Well today it was DH helpfully putting on the light and radio at 7 and moaning at me to get up... he forgot it was a weekend and was “worried” I would be late... err thanks. I am NOT a morning person!!

AdoraBell · 23/01/2021 21:34

LimitIsUp · 23/01/2021 21:43

The alarm - I have to get up to let the dogs out for a pee - which is a bummer because nobody else in the house needs servicing before 9 am

speakout · 23/01/2021 21:44

Alarm clock.

At 6am every morning- so I can do yoga practice before anyone else is awake.

YetAnotherWalk · 23/01/2021 21:46
