Every morning I'm woken up because I need a wee Angry

It would usually be an alarm clock before I started working from home.

What wakes you up?

Impending doom

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 22/01/2021 09:30

@EmmaJR1

This everyday... sometimes at 3am at the moment 😡
Awww.

TRY to enjoy it, soon passes 🙁.

Pyewhacket · 22/01/2021 09:30

5.45 alarm unless I'm on a night duty.

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 22/01/2021 09:32

I'm not really sure I can answer the question as I'm barely sleeping so I don't feel I'm 'waking up'. I 'woke' at 3:30 this 'morning' WIDE AWAKE for the day, it was about 1am when I got to sleep. So about 2hrs...best sleep I've had in about 10 nights 🙄🙄

carrotcake124 · 22/01/2021 09:39

Definitely needing a wee too - woke up at 6 am because I needed a wee, I refused to get out of bed so therefore didn't really sleep properly. Alarm went off at 7.30

Darklane · 22/01/2021 09:40

My little Yorkie jumping up & down on my head.

Purplekitchen · 22/01/2021 09:49

DH 's explosive sneezing.
He is always up before me and I can hear him sneezing downstairs.

LivingMyBestLife2020 · 22/01/2021 09:51

My 2.5 year old telling me he’d had a wee on his potty at 6am. He’s usually up for the day then and every morning I try to get him back in bed to no avail. Today, boom! He went back to bed and gave me a lie in till 7:45!

Gilead · 22/01/2021 10:34

Ball off fluff stretching on my bed, otherwise known as a cockerpoo.

flatpack1 · 22/01/2021 10:42

Traffic. My house backs on to a main road and traffic is 24/7 but it peaks around 8am and thats as good as an alarm clock for my brain.

HappyFlamingo · 22/01/2021 10:45

I wake naturally. Can be any time between 5.30 and 7.30.

LadyofMisrule · 22/01/2021 11:52

Stress.

(Though this morning, it was the cat bringing in a bird that we managed to rescue.)

unmarkedbythat · 22/01/2021 11:54

Either anxiety and a flurry of panicked thoughts or my alarm. Either way, I start ever day feeling worried.

vodkaredbullgirl · 22/01/2021 11:55

Dogs wanting their breakfast, if i'm not on a night shift.

HexWitch · 22/01/2021 11:56

BurtonHouse · 22/01/2021 12:00

DH bringing me a cup of tea at 7.15 just before he leaves for work. He's a fine man.

BraeburnPlace · 23/01/2021 10:55

Worrying about work - adult and child safety, a sense of responsibility for getting this right, meeting demanding needs, keeping up with masses of new guidance...I work with schools

MissCalamity · 23/01/2021 11:20

Same OP, always need a wee. I did go back to sleep though this morning!

Deathraystare · 23/01/2021 11:24

My bladder - every couple of hours.

LindaEllen · 23/01/2021 12:08

Usually knocking on the door. We get a lot of things delivered for our business, and we're right at the start of the delivery round for Hermes, which is who they use, so we get a nice early wakeup call most days! I do sometimes go back to sleep for a bit, though.

I automatically draw the short straw of having to get up and open the door, because DP sleeps with nothing on, and our delivery drivers will only wait a maximum of 1.25 seconds before deciding there can't be anyone in - despite the time and the fact both our cars are there - and taking the package back. So I have to jump out of bed and leg it downstairs!

DinosApple · 23/01/2021 12:50

Depends on what's going on.

Anxiety about work and am I doing enough.
Dreams (see above).
Needing the toilet.
The heating coming on at 6am.
An owl.

Of all I much prefer being waken by the owl!

BikeRunSki · 23/01/2021 12:52

Anxiety wakes me up about 3 am
The need for a wee gets me up about 6.30 am

vodkaredbullgirl · 23/01/2021 12:53

Next doors bloody music, when I want a lie in, or trying to sleep after a night shift.

sashh · 23/01/2021 13:01

I'm naturally a morning person but if I dare to oversleep past 6.30

I feel little kitty paws on my shoulder and a 'waaaaaaaa' in my ear.

If I do not respond she then walks across my face.

If that doesn't work she walks across the drawers and on to the wardrobe knocking things off.

Then she starts again on the shoulder with the 'waaaaaaaa'

By this time I normally turn over and give her a neck tickles.
