@Dinasaurcatcher I'm glad someone else remembers this! I think there was a lemon one too. Really loved the sharp flavour. Really refreshing.

A soap I loved was Zest. It was yellow and had vivid yellow stripes running through it and was super lemony.

@OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow I agree! Loved Cosmetics To Go and their newspaper letters. They did an amazing back mask which was strawberry and ginger which had to be kept in the fridge. Smelt amazing, like you could eat it.

I remember those roll on lipglosses. Clear liquid in a clear bottle. I think I may have bought them from the local markets beauty stall.

rubydoobydoo · 18/01/2021 11:21

Roundas. They were these burger things made of sausage meat, potato and baked beans with breadcrumbs on - perfect comfort food!

JaneJeffer · 18/01/2021 11:40

Was it Constance Carroll? One of those brands you could only buy in your local chemist....
I remember this. You could get other flavours too like cola, etc.

Charlieandlola · 18/01/2021 12:24

Prescriptives make up - particularly foundation where you could get a shade mixed just for you .

Timotei shampoo - remember the advert with a Swiss lady with long blonde hair in an apron amd dress running through wild flowers
Pyramints
Also mint creme eggs at Easter
M and S Chicken tikka sandwiches- with a mint/yoghurt dressing on granary bread

HearMeSnore · 18/01/2021 12:36

Cadbury's chocolate coated nut assortment. DM used to get a big box of them in at Christmas. Now every year I have a hankering for them.

Bluesheep8 · 18/01/2021 12:44

Body Shop perfume oils - particularly patchouli and Ananya
Aldi pork schnitzels
Sun lollies
Pacers (like mint flavoured opal fruits)
Country Store muesli

KirstenBlest · 18/01/2021 12:45

Glad it's not just me thinking that the Quorn cocktail sausages had changed.

I'm a veggie and struggle with the vegan meat substitutes. They taste nice but make me feel sick.

KirstenBlest · 18/01/2021 12:46

@Charlieandlola, prescriptives were part of estee lauder.

Pound shops still sell timotei

Oh God I had forgotten all about those! I loved them Grin

bellagogosdead · 18/01/2021 13:07

@AngusThermopyle thanks, but I have tried that and the asda one which seems to be the same, both either too soft or too crispy. Not for me.

Californiabakes · 18/01/2021 13:23

Morning Star fake bacon. Still feel sad about it.

barleysugar · 18/01/2021 13:48

Citre shine shampoo
Boasters biscuits- full of whole hazelnuts and choc chips
Raspberry instant whip
Mushroom and wine pastn’n’sauce
Safeway was really good- two things I really remember were a tomato and green olive fresh pasta sauce, and their chicken korma which had whole cashew nuts in it. Absolutely lush.

userxx · 18/01/2021 13:51

Citre shine shampoo

God that was amazing stuff.

Mushroom double swiss - YES!!!
Cloudmonkey · 18/01/2021 13:56

And Applause chocolate bars

MissBattleaxe · 18/01/2021 14:01

Body Shop Elderflower eye gel, Peppermint foot lotion, their Perfume Bar, Raspberry Ripple Bathing Bubbles, their lovely fruity glycerine soaps and Banana hair conditioner.

These days The Body Shop is an expensive Body butter boutique where the staff try and make friends with you as you browse ((shudder)). It's not at all what it set out to be.

LadyCatStark · 18/01/2021 14:01

Definitely Spira! That’s been coming up on these threads for years and year, no idea why they haven’t brought it back yet!

Also, Roses coffee cremes and Mingles.

JaneJeffer · 18/01/2021 14:04

It seems to be back but in a different bottle. I don't think it's the same Sad

Ohbuggeroffcovid · 18/01/2021 14:11

Ooh vice versa’s were nice and Nestle (maybe?) got rid of them.

PigletJohn · 18/01/2021 14:17

Fray Bentos pies that actually had some meat in them.

lollipoprainbow · 18/01/2021 14:56

Reading these makes me wonder why they have all been discontinued they sound fabulous !!

LadyEloise · 18/01/2021 15:18

I agree with
Mushroom Double Swiss - I was only talking to DH about them the other day Smile
Chocolate enrobed Boosters biscuits
MAC Asian Flower lipstick
Bourjois Kajal in a blue green shade.

DesiderataH · 18/01/2021 15:21

Waitrose Cream Soda. Not the no sugar, ghastly, evil concoction that they replaced it with but the full sugar one, with Madagascan vanilla, which was heaven in a bottle.

LadyEloise · 18/01/2021 15:21

M&S darkish MILK chocolate bar with dried raspberries. Divine. The fe*kers took it off the market.
Tesco did a value Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate bar. That too has gone Sad

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 18/01/2021 15:23

Lactose-free Philadelphia. It probably still exists but it's not stocked in any supermarkets near me.
