How much Christmas food do you have left?

I've got a roasted turkey breast in the freezer. Half a packet of pate and half a brie. Frozen sausage rolls. A box of Guylian chocs, a box of Heroes and Lindt truffles. Two mince pies and 4 Tescos yule log bites. One piece of christmas pud and a splash of brandy sauce. A smoked cheese and salami platter. A jar of cranberry sauce. A pack of cashew nuts that need roasting. Countless crackers. DP went home today (support bubble) with six plastic pots of cheese and leftovers, plus a whole Christmas pud that feeds 8.
I'm so ready for salad. Anyone else still bursting at the seams with Christmas fare?

Some chocolate (mainly selection boxes)

Half a massive tin of crackers

Some cheeses

Pickles

Finished the Twiglets last night.

TheAlphaandtheOmega · 04/01/2021 06:15

A Christmas cake and stollen, we always eat those after Christmas anyway, loads of cheese but most is dated end of Jan/Feb so that's fine, not as many chocolates as I would like.

Peridot1 · 04/01/2021 06:16

Lots of cheese left. And crackers. But they will get eaten for lunches over the next few days.

Two mince pies left. And some cream.

A box of shortbread. A box of chocolate biscuits.

Most of a tub each of Celebrations and Heroes. Ferrero Rocher. And a box of Cherry liqueurs.

Quite a bit of booze left too.

Cutting way back on drinking so a few chocolates or cheese and crackers each night will be nice as a treat instead of wine.

None at all. I bought some mincemeat for mince pies yesterday and made some new mince pies.

HeronLanyon · 04/01/2021 06:24

My Christmas food isn’t hugely different from year round but
Pannetone - see it as Christmas and Easter thing. Luckily dates are good to keep for Easter.
Loads of small ‘interesting’ chocolate stuff. Some with short dates. Don’t have much of a sweet tooth and can’t do the usual of taking into work for everyone. Neighbours may want.

Red currant jelly - over purchased by mistake.
Pistachios ! Several bags.

DinosApple · 04/01/2021 06:47

Various cheese, some mince pies, some frozen turkey will go in stir-fry, and some homemade cranberry sauce.

No visitors, but I like enough food in the house so we can have picky bits for as long as possible. That way I don't have to think what to cook!

Pipandmum · 04/01/2021 06:51

My dogs ate the remains of the turkey - so annoyed as love leftovers!
We have a small extra bag of sprouts i forgot about and a bit of cheese. Most everything was eaten on the night, with mainly the Christmas cake to enjoy for a few days.

BertieBotts · 04/01/2021 06:51

Not much. Just some crisps, potato salad, fruit and nuts, and a frozen apple pie I meant to do for Christmas day but we were all too full. We are not big pudding eaters.

Hollybutnoivy · 04/01/2021 06:54

A little bit of Christmas cake and a panettone- but that was bought yesterday as it was discounted. We finished the turkey on Boxing day.

ScepticalBandicoot · 04/01/2021 07:16

Brussels sprouts
Chestnuts
Christmas cake (not yet started)
Jar of mincemeat
Half a small bowl of brandy butter
Half a panettone
Bag of nuts, jar of olives, bag of crisps, box of biscuits for cheese
Box of chocolate truffles
Couple of foodie gifts - bar of nice chocolate, box of fancy tea
Think of that's it!

GeorgiaGirl52 · 04/01/2021 07:21

Half a jar of cranberry-orange relish
1 frozen bag of pigs that I ran out of blankets for
a bag of Ghiardelli dark chocolate mints that I hid on a high shelf to save for myself and they got pushed back so far I can't reach them. If I ask anyone to get them down for me, I will have to SHARE!Sad

HedgieHog · 04/01/2021 07:22

Fridge stuff all gone other than cheese but loads of chocolate and shortbread
Anything unopened with a decent date will be put away and opened as a treat. Opened stuff hopefully gone by the weekend

ScepticalBandicoot · 04/01/2021 07:24

Damn, I forgot the gingerbread house still waiting to be made.

SomewhatBored · 04/01/2021 07:25

There's a brie still in the fridge - everything else has been eaten.

MinnieMountain · 04/01/2021 07:26

6 mince pies of various sorts.
Half a Christmas cake.
5 tree biscuits.
A box of fancy lebkuchen.
A packet of less fancy lebkuchen.
Some Stilton.

Clutterbugsmum · 04/01/2021 07:27

None as we don't buy 'special' Christmas food. Yes we have crackers, cheese and chocolates but they will just be eaten as when.

We just have food to eat. Yes we may have turkey leftover which I will make into a turkey and leek pie for a later dinner,

AuntieMarys · 04/01/2021 07:30

None. I never buy loads...we don't eat turkey or huge pieces of meat. I gave 2 boxes of biscuits to neighbour to take to work (nurse).

kitschplease · 04/01/2021 07:30

Just most of a pot of cranberry sauce that no one really likes!

Pascha · 04/01/2021 07:31

Half a tub of pringles
One box of after eights
Some truffle things which were a gift. Think they can go as not really our thing.
2 small Christmas puds. They'll last til next December.
One rib of beef in the freezer
Some gammon still in the freezer
Half a wheel of brie
Odds and ends of other cheese which will be finished up this week.

Thats it. I hope.

RosesAndHellebores · 04/01/2021 07:35

3 mince pies!
Either we are gannets or don't over buy.

EssentiallyDelighted · 04/01/2021 07:39

Half a Christmas cake. Started the pudding last night but it's a small one. I will make one or the other not both next year.

Various sweets from stockings. Half a pack of crackers. Shredded turkey in the freezer. A few sprouts in the veg drawer of the fridge.

Nomoresleeps · 04/01/2021 07:43

Nothing except some M&S shortbread biscuits someone bought for me.

LubaLuca · 04/01/2021 07:50

A few scraps of cheese, a couple of pieces of Christmas cake, the less appealing chocolates and a couple of jars of homemade mincemeat (intentionally saved).

We bought fewer 'just in case' extras this year knowing we wouldn't get visitors.

bookgirl1982 · 04/01/2021 08:04

Most of a box of shortbread, a few bottles of wine. Now I am wondering why.

bumblingbovine49 · 04/01/2021 08:09

None left now except some tiny bits of posh cheese I aim to buy enough so it is all eaten by the first few days of January. However we do eat a lot so other less greedy people might have had some left still Grin
