What do you put in your toastie?

We received a toastie maker as a family gift for Christmas. So far we’ve only tried ham and cheese or tuna and cheese and I’m keen to try out some other ideas.
What’s your best toastie recipe?

Cheese, onion and Ballyamloe relish. Sometimes I add ham.

Brie and baby plum tomatoes

Cheese and Branston pickle

Cheddar. Carmalised onion chutney. Tomatoes

Haggis and cheese 🤤

Feta, tahini & honey. To die for 🤤🤤🤤

Banana and Mars bar!

Cheese, leftover beef braised in beer, american mustard.

Not nearly as exotic as some but all delicious

Tinned spaghetti with those little sausages in it and cheese DP looks at me in disgust but it’s amazing.

Ham, cheese and pickle is my more normal option.

I bought a toastie maker for Christmas for my DS and BIL who are moving into their town flat. I had promised to buy myself one on payday.

The salt beef, gherkin and mustard mayo is going to be my first butty. I am literally salivating thinking about it

Oh for fuck sake I’ve just ordered a bloody sandwich toaster!
We had one years ago but had to throw it out because we couldn’t work out how to clean the greasy cheese out of the spring at the back and it started to go crusty! Do they still get manky?!
