Computer got sorted, IT wanted to do a zoom thing but I couldn't stop laughing when they suddenly popped up on my screen and it fell off my lap.

It reminded me of the groove armada song superstylin for some reason.

Shit I'll have to do some work now.

Silkiecat also does that and falls off then looks at everyone to check if anyone saw then has a I planned to do that I didn't just fall off by accident look. She often falls off the armrest of the sofa.

After the longest week ever for everyone, it’s the weekend - hooray! We had pizza for dinner as is the norm for fridays here but today, there were some air fried fries too.

Our Christmas tree and decorations will come down tomorrow.

@Champagneforeveryone - I'm sorry to hear your Ddog is poorly. Best wishes for a good prognosis.

Eggy your Dcat and mine could be siblings, right down to the white neck and mittens. I took this today while she was sun napping. I've never seen her fall off the chair, but I'm not always in the room.

Well the verdict is in and it appears that thankfully (an unlikely word to use I know), DDog1 has a severe case of pancreatitis.

He's staying in overnight and the vet will call tomorrow morning with an update, but she's hopeful that further painkillers and a night on fluids will help him totter round the corner and live to fight another day ❤️

Good news from here, vertigo has buggered off again so I'm happy.

My boiler was serviced today, my oil was filled yesterday, I had 2 sleeps on the sofa and my kittens got 2 new toys from the nice Amazon man.

@Champagneforeveryone I'm so glad to hear your DDogs prognosis is so good.

Today was a dull day of housework and napping..
it was too cold to bring DD on her walk so hopefully we will go tomorrow

I was planning on doing my food shop today but I woke up to a text from my boss that I need to self-isolate for 10 days. Sorry, that may be too exciting for this thread (I am not excited, I am gutted, but at least my next embryo transfer is planned for next month otherwise it would have been way worse).

Neighbour's new kitten.

I’m single and living in work-provided accommodation, so I have my own bathroom but the kitchen is down the corridor. I do have a fridge in my room for milk etc, just need someone to bring me some as I’m out. The work canteen is in the same building so someone will be given the job of bringing me meals and leaving them outside my door, it’s just that I usually keep stuff in my fridge for when I don’t fancy anything on the menu, like fresh pasta, microwave meals etc. One of my colleagues has had the same message so there’s two of us in the same boat.
On the positive side, I won’t need to do any laundry as I can just live in my pjs!

We were trying to think of a word for the sound your foot makes on snow, today. We thought of crudding- but thought it sounded rude.

Small, dry snow definitely creaks. I have a friend who hates the sound. It has the same effect on her as nails on a blackboard or tearing cotton wool. We get mostly wet, slushy snow here than the dry stuff so it was less problematic when she still lived here.

@Sunbird24 I hope you get through the next ten days ok and that there is someone able to bring you supplies for your fridge and when the canteen meals are not to your taste.

DD had a restless night last night- teething - and I got up with her three times so I am still in bed but cannot sleep- I thought I'd be able to fall back but no!
It's very foggy out there so we will have a lazy day today. (When I decide to get up).

Good news on your DDog, @Champagneforeveryone and that your vertigo has gone @NotanotherboxofFrogs. I hope self isolation is bearable @Sunbird24 and you get grocery supplies soon.

Lots of things to do today so I am sitting in bed and not doing them.

Genuinely excited to realise it is nearly time for my next cup of tea.

@soddingkitten- it was small dry snow, and it was too deep to crunch, so the sound was dry and muffled. It wasn’t exactly a creak though.
