My dd13 suffers with really bad BO. She had a shower this morning and has had to have another. It’s so bad it goes through her shirt onto her school blazer. We’ve tried mitchim (?) and it was working but doesn’t seem to anymore. We are currently using a spray (can’t remember name but something like sure).

It’s so bad and she says she washes properly. She’s in there long enough!

We originally caught her wearing a scabby bra that I thought I had thrown away that absolutely stunk!

It’s been thrown away now.

I had to wash her coat yesterday bevause it stunk so bad.

It’s driving me insane!

What can I do?

Shaving isn’t the answer. The hair is meant to be there and shaving will possibly make it worse. Men have hairy outs and not all of them stink! We are conditioned to think it should be removed but it’s unhealthy for the skin,

Have you tried odaban. You spray it on at night and wash it off in the morning. It stinks but god it works. It's the only thing that properly works for me. Once it's under control you only need to use it a couple of times a week.

I can’t believe how much better they smell after using soap and not shower gel!

Did you do a sniff test?

Thedarksideofthemoon30 · 17/12/2020 21:56

The trouble with anti-perspirants they stop the body's natural cooling down system. It already sounds as if you are doing all you can to help her.

Is that actually true? After all, the armpits are a tiny percentage of the surface area of your body.
