Because I love these threads and winter food!

We had lamb, apricot, veggie and chickpea tagine, with bulgar wheat pitta and hummus on the side. Was lovely. A teeny bit of lamb leftover from yesterday went a very long way!

With home made Nacho cheese dip and tortilla chips

That sounds absolutely delicious!! Do you have the recipe??
Just lemon sole, broccoli and green beans here tonight! We are trying to be extra good before Christmas starts 😬

We had homemade carrot and ginger soup with bread and leftover pulled pork from yesterday.

Ribeye steak with mashed potatoe, onions, mushrooms and peppercorn sauce.

A second request for the op's recipe please, that sound lovely. It's made the prospect of my left over roast chicken with whatever's in the veg box vegetables and pasta feel very dull! Will add a mound of cheese, that'll cheer it up....

pumpkinpie01 · 30/11/2020 19:12

Quesadillas made with leftover gammon from yesterday (mixed with some bbq sauce) and then cheese on top, served with salad.
Trying to be better at using leftovers to make other meals as I’m not always the best at it. All the family really enjoyed it, so it was a success!

Pascha · 30/11/2020 19:15

Monday night is fridge leftover night so I made chilli with odd and ends of veg and the mince which needed cooking today.

NickMarlow · 30/11/2020 19:16

Easy tea today - baked potatoes with cheese, beans and bacon

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 30/11/2020 19:17

Salmon, new potatoes, green beans and hollandaise. My first attempt at making hollandaise and it worked perfectly! I did the stick blender method.

helloxhristmas · 30/11/2020 19:17

Gammon (M&S bing in oven job)potatoes persillade (M&S frozen French import, our favourites from years of camping holidays and so glad to find them here!), tenderstem broccoli.

Delicious and zero effort.

Dollywilde · 30/11/2020 19:19

Teriyaki salmon with noodles, asparagus and broccoli. Should be peas in there too but I’m an idiot who forgot she used up the last of the frozen peas last week and didn’t stick a replacement on the shopping list.

pringlebells · 30/11/2020 19:22

Monkfish wrapped in Parma ham on a bed of garlic wilted spinach and kale, sautéed potatoes and some broccoli that needed cooking.
Not eaten it yet, dh is cooking, but it smells delicious 😋

Inextremis · 30/11/2020 19:39

I did a simple keema curry with mushrooms and peas, on plain boiled rice. It was really tasty, very easy, and also quick. Tomorrow is a long, slow beef stew with dumplings - thanks to a MN thread about comfort food!
