Ddog refused to go for a wee before we came to bed. I even carried her out and she just stared at me on the grass looking like a fluffy baked potato. She then woke at 2am and decided she needed to go. She is now snoring next to me, and I’m wide awake on MN.

Just woken up and wide awake having read that the government have started to insist on schools having all pupils in the building in the last week of term instead of teaching all online to try and ensure that no student is told to self isolate over Christmas.

More malicious government action to show how much they hate young people and school staff AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry

I just cannot sleep. And my kindle died so I’m downstairs considering pinching a bit of leftover roast dinner.

Every couple of months I’ll have a night like this where my eyes just ping open and I’m wide awake all night. Of course it’s always a Sunday

Pyewhacket · 30/11/2020 03:31

Horse stood on my foot and it’s painful and swollen. Just waiting for the Co Codamol to kick-in.

frankie001 · 30/11/2020 03:34

Ouch @Pyewhacket! Hope it kicks in.

@MustardMitt go for the roast!

@popshops it’s all ver worrying, especially with Christmas coming up.

Ddog here too. She stole a fatball from neighbouring garden. Not sure how much she ate but she's been out twice in the night and needed a lot of cleaning up!
She's asleep now and parping occasionally.
I'm now wide awake.

Magicsprinkles · 30/11/2020 03:36

Oh nice to find you!
Awake with horrible anxiety..just seems to be endless crap stuff happening atm.

Cherryup · 30/11/2020 03:36

I'm stressed about work and Christmas, so keep waking up. I'll be glad when the alarm goes off and I can just get up!

Oreservoir · 30/11/2020 03:37

@Pyewhacket your poor foot. Remember as a teen how painful that was.

WhiteVixen · 30/11/2020 03:37

Feeding the Baby Who Does Not Sleep 🙄

QueenPaws · 30/11/2020 03:37

Unwell. 111 think I've had a false negative covid test

Dugi3 · 30/11/2020 03:38

5 week old baby who sleeps like a log all day, could drive a dumper truck past their cot and they wouldnt stir, can be put down like an angel...come 3am it's time for a game of the cot is lava and the noise of my blinking has those beady little eyes ping open!

PandemicPalava · 30/11/2020 03:38

Urgh just been woken up by a message that dd's bubble has to isolate again. So gutted

Magicsprinkles · 30/11/2020 03:39

Yes Xmas is ridiculously stressful. Laughed when I saw Jamie Oliver promising to show you how to make the best x mas dinner ever - he’s been saying that for 14 years! They must be super spectacular now 😀

frankie001 · 30/11/2020 03:39

@Oreservoir your poor pup, bet your dog is thinking “worth it”! in between the parps!

popshops · 30/11/2020 03:39

@Pyewhacket ouch, I remember how much that hurt when it happened to me.

@MustardMitt yabu, I want a roast dinner now AngryGrin

I just don't understand why the government are dictating this to schools and not letting the school leadership teams make an informed decision. Normally academies, I.e most secondary schools, could discuss this at the management meetings and make the decision themselves to ask governors to decide to do it or not.

frankie001 · 30/11/2020 03:40

@QueenPaws I hope you feel better soon.

Night shift worker in a care home.

Pipandmum · 30/11/2020 03:45

I'm awake because I find out this week if my daughter was successful in her school applications. Nine interviews and three exams plus umpteen work submissions... it means moving so our house is on the market and she keeps saying what if she doesn't get in anywhere and I keep telling her of course she will but I'm totally stressed out to be honest, so have been tossing and turning for a couple hours and now on here.

Magicsprinkles · 30/11/2020 03:45

Oh that’s not nice frankie001 I feel for you. ( and sore foot lady!)
Actually the anticipation of going back to work might be worse than going?
Hope you feel better x

Magicsprinkles · 30/11/2020 03:48

I HATE feeling anxious! How can I stop it?

Temporary1234 · 30/11/2020 03:49

Stabbing on our street just happened and stabber not caught and They’ve been looking for the target since last night by smashing windows ... no one stoppped them and they managed to escape!!

frankie001 · 30/11/2020 03:50

@Magicsprinkles I wish I knew how to stop it! I was taking propanalol for anxiety but have been taken off it as I had a bad asthma attack following a chest infection . Trying to do mindfulness, and hoping once I’m at work things won’t seem as bad. Not been a good year for stress and anxiety symptoms.

OP posts:
frankie001 · 30/11/2020 03:51

@Temporary1234 that’s awful, and scary.

then I logged into my bank to check and a credit company has taken money I have no idea about, they don't even have a contact number or anything! So annoyed right now !!!! X
