I’ve just really enjoyed Aldi’s new goats cheese. I love Manchego, Feta, Reed Leicester and so many more

My favourite is Colston Bassett blue cheese.
I only have it at Christmas though

QuitMoaning · 21/11/2020 20:05

Mozzarella, halloumi, Brie and a creamy Gorgonzola

BBCK · 21/11/2020 20:06

Never heard of Colston’s. Where’s it from?

OP posts:
Madbengalmum · 21/11/2020 20:06

Vacherin Mont d’or

Madbengalmum · 21/11/2020 20:07

Bbck, colston basset is a village in Nottinghamshire.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 21/11/2020 20:07

I couldn’t possibly say.

Magpiecomplex · 21/11/2020 20:07

Epoisses. DS2 has already started asking for it at Christmas...

InTheLongGrass · 21/11/2020 20:08

Yarg. Mum tries to have some in every time I come home, as I've never seen it up here. I did, however, find it in the middle east once, and bought a wedge at great expense!

RedLimoncello · 21/11/2020 20:09

@Madbengalmum I came on to say just this!

CarolinaPink · 21/11/2020 20:09

Delice de Bourgogne. Absolutely yummy :)

CathyorClaire · 21/11/2020 20:09

Whatever's on the board.

Ginfordinner · 21/11/2020 20:09

Anything from the Snowdonia Cheese Company Grin

RedTawny · 21/11/2020 20:09

Manchego, petit Basque and a good strong west country cheddar

BBCK · 21/11/2020 20:10

Hard to say, but one of my favourites is called Kaltbach Alpine Creamy, which I discovered in my local Booths a couple of years ago.

BBCK · 21/11/2020 20:10

What is Yarg?

OP posts:
Madbengalmum · 21/11/2020 20:11

Yarg is a cornish cheese

Madbengalmum · 21/11/2020 20:12

RedLimoncello 😉

BBCK · 21/11/2020 20:12

Can you describe Delice de Bourgogne please? Sounds like a mild cheese. Is that true?

OP posts:
Ffsnosexallowed · 21/11/2020 20:12

Alp blossom, beautiful cheese, but too expensive!

BBCK · 21/11/2020 20:13

What kind of cheese is Yarg?

OP posts:
Lucylivesinamushroomhouse · 21/11/2020 20:14

St felicien and epoisses

Miltonkeynesmummy · 21/11/2020 20:14

Benleigh blue. So good.

BBCK · 21/11/2020 20:14

Is Vacherin a creamy cheese?

OP posts:
lazylinguist · 21/11/2020 20:15

I've never tried Yarg, but I always think it's really funny that the name sounds so odd and kind of gnarly, but it was just the name of the makers who created it in the 1980s, but backwards (their surname was Gray). Grin
