I’ve just really enjoyed Aldi’s new goats cheese. I love Manchego, Feta, Reed Leicester and so many more

Chaource or Cambozola.

TessApricot · 21/11/2020 20:32

Although you can’t beat a strong cheddar.

Els1e · 21/11/2020 20:34

Coastal cheddar. It’s made from the milk of cows that graze on fields by the sea. Has a bit of a salty tang. Lovely!

BBCK · 21/11/2020 20:47

Anyone tried Tintern?

@JamesAnderson

Colston Bassett is Stilton yes, but from the dairy in Colston Bassett.

It's more creamy than the standard Stilton from Tesco etc

I usually have the Cropwell Bishop stilton (am local to the area).

This thread has inspired me to take a trip into town this week to get some cheeses to try from the little cheese shop we have.

JamesAnderson · 21/11/2020 21:10

@TurquoiseDragon how I wish I was local. I get it from my local farm shop who only order it at Christmas.

Maybe when things are more normal I'll visit the area just to try the cheese

TurquoiseDragon · 21/11/2020 21:19

Will this help?

Cropwell Bishop, online ordering

TinkersRucksack · 21/11/2020 21:21

Black bomber. I really want some now

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 21/11/2020 21:23

I like a sharp vintage cheddar, feta & halloumi & absolutely love Jarlsberg.

captainprincess · 21/11/2020 21:23

All of them, all the cheese Grin

JamesAnderson · 21/11/2020 21:23

That's brilliant, thank you.

bengalcat · 21/11/2020 21:25

Any cheese - Waitrose do a cheese advent calendar

Branleuse · 21/11/2020 21:28

I love 'seriously strong' mature cheddar, port salut, halloumi, and maroilles if i can get it

BeneficiaryMadness · 21/11/2020 21:31

@ TinkersRucksack

Emus · 21/11/2020 21:33

Anything from the Snowdonia Cheese Company Grin

You beat me too it! Red Storm is my absolutely favourite. Grin

Quornflakegirl · 21/11/2020 21:36

Ossau-Iraty is delicious. A french ewes milk cheese that is creamy and nutty.
Rosary Ash goats cheese is a favourite too.

Heyha · 21/11/2020 21:41

Morbier (can sometimes get it in Lidl!), a nice log of Welsh goats' cheese, Iberico (is in Asda now) and anything from Sparkenhoe/Leicestershire Handmade Cheese Co. The Battlefield Blue is phenomenal.

Ohdeariedear · 21/11/2020 21:43

Smoked Orkney cheddar. Used to get it in Aldi, can’t get it anywhere now.

Milomonster · 21/11/2020 21:44

Shaved Parmesan. Eating 3-4 80g pots a week as a snack. Crave it so much but I’m worried it’s getting of hand. I like that gritty sensation.

Pedallleur · 21/11/2020 21:48

Single Gloucester plus many others

WellIWasInTheNeighbourhoo · 21/11/2020 21:52

Black bomber cheddar is delish

JoeNotExotic · 21/11/2020 22:03

Cheese is one of my weaknesses, I could eat an entire block if left to my own devices.

Faves are Hereford Hop, Vintage cheddars (the strong punchy stuff) and a good Stilton.

HelloCanYouHearMe · 21/11/2020 22:03

Cambezola and goats milk camembert, both absolutely amazing

Winecheesesleep · 21/11/2020 22:06

Epoisses is my ultimate cheese

FrenchBoule · 21/11/2020 22:06

Port Salut,so creamy 😋
