Its a bit played down to what they have produced in the past.

Oh and a heart shaped umbrella, candles etc. I do like the umbrella actually

Best one this year is this one from and Irish supermarket; I burst into tears.

It's a good ad, love the animation, but it's not v Christmassy, there's no obvious merch opportunities and I don't feel the urge to spend money i don't have on shit I don't need

well, I think any Christmas ad that doesn't acknowledge that this year is different is pretty crap to be honest.

It isn't that I particularly liked or disliked it, it is that it just ignores everything about this year, and about this Christmas.

How can they do that?
Where is the standing together etc?

they started with the theme in March, when everyone was being kind, so that is the theme, community spirit etc.,

It's okay, bit meh.

The McDonalds one though... 😭😭😭

Oh I like it. I love the McD one, possibly because my own DD’s entering that stage in her life and can relate to it. My favourite so far has been the Amazon one ❤️

amazon, despite myself, am crying.

The best way all the adverts have recognised 2020 is the diversity in their casting or characters.

The first link I found for it had no sound. So after I watched that, I sought out a version with the sound. It was definitely better the first time.

Amazon & McDonalds ads do nothing for me!

Hated the John Lewis ad - such a shame as I usually love them. The McDonald’s ad did nothing for me - I’m usually a crier but don’t have kids so maybe that’s why
