You don't need the verb for the first word you need a noun. You already have the third word.

Think of the Italian word for a "chat" that a pretentious person (I'm thinking Mapp & Lucia would use this word). Then write it in English.

When you say the mirror and the lamp, you have almost got it but its not so much the lamp as what it gives. I am stuck on the bennetts supplies - any clues ?

I have to say Im not always great at these but this year it has been particularly hard! This has made me think I need to read more current books!!

Well I've been struggling all week with the two hams. I know people have said it's a 'say what you see' title, but I've tried everything I can think of and got nowhere. Is it ham? Is it bacon? Does it not matter what the actual meat is?
