I cannot workout the station or corgi even with clues so far! Any sledgehammer clues for me please?

lostandfound55 · 12/11/2020 21:24

For the corgi its the owner of the corgi not the dog itself. With something added to the end.

bibliomania · 12/11/2020 21:24

Corgi - think of royal owner

Station - it's underground and it's a ....

MaudTheInvincible · 12/11/2020 21:33

Walkthroughthefire the corgi is something of a red herring. One word. The answer's the person who owns the corgis, but with a couple of extra letters to sugar it up a bit. Like: Sweetie instead of Sweet.

The station one. Three words. Passengers would have to go below ground level to get on a train, which runs on an old American term for the railways (I think).

The station one refers to slavery era USA.

Blurp · 12/11/2020 21:46

I have them all except Frankenstein's monster. I've tried talking, calling, ringing, speaking and everything I can think off, but no joy - what am I missing?!

bibliomania · 12/11/2020 21:48

What about calling?

bibliomania · 12/11/2020 21:48

Did it!

emsmum79 · 12/11/2020 21:48

The roommate one has me stumped

lostandfound55 · 12/11/2020 21:51

@emsmum79 this took me a while. I was putting it as three words but it is only two.

lostandfound55 · 12/11/2020 21:54

@Blurp a pp helped me with this. There is a play by j b Priestley which helps with this.

Deadringer · 12/11/2020 21:55

Despite all of the clues i still can't figure out the telescope one or the coffee shop one.

EmmaStone · 12/11/2020 21:57

@Deadringer

Despite all of the clues i still can't figure out the telescope one or the coffee shop one.
Another word for telescope, and what colour is it? Part of a trilogy

I had to Google the coffee shop one, never heard of it.

EmmaStone · 12/11/2020 21:59

Thanks to you all, I'd never be able to finish these without some clues!

kaleishorrid · 12/11/2020 22:01

TimeIhadaNameChange · 12/11/2020 22:34

@emsmum79 - look at the positioning of the sign. Upstairs - not a house but a ....

Gotthetshirt23 · 12/11/2020 22:35

lostandfound55 · 12/11/2020 22:36

feministbias · 12/11/2020 22:40
