6

Smallsteps88 · 29/10/2020 23:04

Is this the support group?

Depend on whether I’m working or not. Working I’ll have maybe 5/6. Not working- there is no limit.

Excitedforxmas · 29/10/2020 23:05

5

Keepyourfaith70 · 29/10/2020 23:06

Zero, I probably don't belong here.

DramaAlpaca · 29/10/2020 23:07

Probably 7 or 8 throughout the day.

I love tea and I rarely drink coffee.

lilacmoon78 · 29/10/2020 23:08

probably one cup of normal tea with 2 sugars and milk and then 1-3 cups of lemon green, herbal, or fruit tea

ChickensMightFly · 29/10/2020 23:08

About 6. Can I ask why cutting down was a good idea? Is it just the caffeine? What have you replaced it with?

FarTooSkinny · 29/10/2020 23:08

Generally 2-3 before I start work. Then another 4-5 through the day. Might have a coffee to break things up

Mugs, not cups. Cups are mimsy

ChickensMightFly · 29/10/2020 23:08

Actually probably more like 7 or 8 thinking about it.

Keepyourfaith70 · 29/10/2020 23:09

@DramaAlpaca I adore tea.. When I've finished a mug I'm thinking about when to have my next one.. Its not uncommon to go and make another one immediately after finishing one either.

Too much. Anything up to 10 a day. I have a friend who regularly pops in and she drinks tea like water (as do i) and the mountain of tea bags there when she leaves is madness.

I dont want to quit though. That first sip is, ahhhhhhh.

Fuckedoffwithfriend · 29/10/2020 23:11

2 - 4. Always start the day with one or two cups of strong Yorkshire tea then move on later to fruit or green.

jakeyboy1 · 29/10/2020 23:11

At least 6.

My husband has about 16. Not kidding. Tea Bag Mountain is escalating in our house.

Keepyourfaith70 · 29/10/2020 23:12

@chickensmightfly I dropped it down during pregnancy.. Caffeine mainly but a sugar also as I have sugar in my tea... I can drink a tea at 10pm at night and have no trouble sleeping. I tried replacing with decaf but it made me miserable and tired lol.. I genuinely feel the tiredness when I don't have a morning cuppa.

Around ten.

Halo1234 · 29/10/2020 23:13

2 almost back to back in the morning.
One after lunch.
One just before dinner.
So 4. But I really really really do notice and miss it if I don't get all 4.

Keepyourfaith70 · 29/10/2020 23:14

Oh god.. Its ONLY Yorkshire tea bag in this house..
I've yet to find another tea I enjoy as much as Yorkshire.
The coop did a tea which was by the Salvation Army and it was wonderful but its been discontinued now.

On a work day about 10 at the weekend 15+. I don’t drink alcohol so tea is my poison. I also love coffee.

fiddlerjo · 29/10/2020 23:15

2 but they are large mugs so probably four

Lushers · 29/10/2020 23:16

About 8 and at least 2 cups at bedtime when reading in bed Grin I bloody love the stuff. Especially as a treat at night I put evaporated milk in it...don't knock it till you've tried it

IHaveBrilloHair · 29/10/2020 23:16

None now, I went off it, but used to be up to 10 mugs a day.

QueenPaws · 29/10/2020 23:17

Large mugs.. 5-7

ShowOfHands · 29/10/2020 23:19

One in the morning. Earl Grey. Then I drink mostly water and some herbal and fruit teas if it's chilly.

Yubaba · 29/10/2020 23:20

Up to 10 cups a day depending on the day, I drink more on my day off than when I’m working. I very rarely drink coffee, I don’t mind it but I prefer tea.
I actually get headaches if I don’t drink enough.
