I always go for special house friend rice which has all the meats in and top it off with either sweet and sour balls or normally mushroom curry and a side of prawn crackers - I am always stuffed. Or Singapore vermicelli.

LizzieMacQueen · 27/10/2020 17:01

Beef in black bean sauce with green peppers.

Chicken and cashew nuts ( though I have to pick the water chestnuts out, yuk ).

RNBrie · 27/10/2020 17:01

Sweet and Sour Prawns (not the balls!) - unsung hero on a Chinese menu.

FlibbertyGiblets · 27/10/2020 17:02

Ooh salt and pepper anything including chips.

linerforlife · 27/10/2020 17:02

Rina66 · 27/10/2020 17:03

Steamed dumplings, hot & sour soup or duck chow mein

InTheLongGrass · 27/10/2020 17:03

Chicken with ginger and spring onion

Lemon chicken - but might be a bit too much like chicken balls for you.

MargotMoon · 27/10/2020 17:10

What's in Singapore noodles?

Pegase · 27/10/2020 17:15

Singapore noodles - all the meats plus curry powder stir fried with rice noodles

Butterflyball · 27/10/2020 17:18

Sweet and sour pork or chicken cantonese style 😋

ginglebellsginglebells · 27/10/2020 17:19

I love salt and pepper chicken- it's really savoury bites of crispy chicken with salt, chilli, garlic, onions and peppers. Dry, so good to get some sauce if you have rice too, but soooo tasty.

I also love crispy shredded chilli duck- it's like the beef/chicken variety, but the duck is just the right balance of crispy outside and tender meat inside. Yum.

Marmite27 · 27/10/2020 17:20

Chilli garlic chicken, fried rice and nick some of my dads chips and mums onion rings if I’m at my parents Grin

(I really wish I was Sad)

Pak choy in oyster sauce, tender stem broccoli in garlic sauce and mushroom fried rice.

Rae36 · 27/10/2020 17:28

Salt and chilli chips. My absolute favourite. Have tried to recreate them myself at home but never got it right. I think it's the lashings of msg I probably missing

chaosisaladder · 27/10/2020 17:30

Kung po chicken!

LoveFall · 27/10/2020 17:33

Stir fried pea shots with garlic. Delicious and a good way to get some veggies in. Same Szechuan green beans.

SummerHouse · 27/10/2020 17:35

@linerforlife

Crispy shredded chilli beef or chicken Wink
Yes this! Or scabs as we call it.
makingmiracles · 27/10/2020 17:43

Crispy chilli beef(at our Chinese it is not spicy) kinda like chewy/crispy sticky coated beef sheddings

Also love beef and mushrooms, it’s in a kind of gravy type sauce, is lovely

SweetMilkyFilth · 27/10/2020 17:47

yuk sung & szechuan green beans!

SinkGirl · 27/10/2020 17:49

Smoked shredded chicken. So good.

I really want Chinese now but friday is Chinese day here 😬

LaurieSchafferIsAllBitterNow · 27/10/2020 17:49

Scabs?? Yikes! But it is delicious!

We usually have shredded chilli beef, lemon chicken, fancy fried rice, prawn crackers and a rogue dish if one of the children is here, they like to go off piste for a takeaway.
