Singapore chow mein and crispy chilli beef. My mouth is watering!

Agree crispy chilli beef or crispy beef in ok sauce

Mayvis · 27/10/2020 17:52

Chicken egg foo yung.

It’s like chicken, onions and bean sprouts in a big omelette. Nice with curry sauce.

Maskedcrusader · 27/10/2020 17:53

doctorhamster · 27/10/2020 18:14

doctorhamster · 27/10/2020 18:14

*now not bow

Skade · 27/10/2020 18:16

We always go for:

Crispy lamb with pancakes
Beef in black bean sauce (or king prawn)
Kung Po chicken
BBQ spare ribs
Chicken with cashews
Beef chow mein

Now I want a Chinese takeaway!

DillonPanthersTexas · 27/10/2020 18:17

Capital spare ribs, christ knows if they even come from a pig but they are gooey, sticky, messy and lovely.

muckandnettles · 27/10/2020 18:19

King prawns in black bean sauce with green peppers

Lindy2 · 27/10/2020 18:24

Salt and pepper squid and deep fried shredded beef with chilli are our firm favourites.

Holothane · 27/10/2020 18:27

King prawn fried rice and I love the curry sauce as well lovely on a few chips.

WooMaWang · 27/10/2020 18:32

If there’s an actual Chinese menu, I use google translate (to be sure I’m not ordering intestines) and pick something from that. Sichuan fish fragrant aubergine is really good.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 27/10/2020 18:33

I like crispy shredded beef in Cantonese sauce.

Or the chicken and sweetcorn soup, a couple of chop suey rolls and prawn crackers for dipping.

dudsville · 27/10/2020 18:33

What's a chicken ball?

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 27/10/2020 18:34

@afaloren

I love Yuk Sung.
I love Yuk Sung!! Only ever had it when visiting a friend in Birmingham who said it's a local dish to them.
MonClareDevole · 27/10/2020 18:36

Salt & chilli or salt & pepper everythings

enjoyingscience · 27/10/2020 18:37

Tofu in black bean sauce. So bloody lovely.

SomethingNastyintheBallPool · 27/10/2020 18:40

Stir fried pea shots with garlic. Delicious and a good way to get some veggies in.

Dao miu! I love them. But they’re only in season for about 30 seconds a year and hardly anywhere does them. Sad

LaBelleSauvage123 · 27/10/2020 18:45

Salt and chilli spare ribs
Roast duck anything

DeciduousPerennial · 27/10/2020 18:49

Special chow mein

afaloren · 27/10/2020 18:49

O @BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz I am in the midlands but didn’t realise it wasn’t available all over! It’s my fave.
