Me...when I’m feeling extra lazy I use two teabags together rather than pulling them apart so I have leverage to pull the dipped one out and into the bin, instead of using a spoon.

My brother has purchases a film on sky instead of going upstairs to get the dvd. We are all still astonished by that one!!

Anyone else?!

@everybodyknowsus

When I'm running I always get a really runny nose. I can't be bothered to don't carry wads of tissue with me so I blow my nose on the inside of my running tops.

(Please note they go on a hot wash afterwards Grin)

Me too .... 🙋🏻‍♀️

Henio I can so relate to your 5 bags of car shit. Every time my car went for service or MOT I'd do the same. CDs, perfume, coins, random shit as you say. It's all still in the garage and the new car is brewing up a new supply as I type. Today noticed a couple of mugs, the usual CDs that multiply, TENS machine and about 800 bags for life. My mum calls my car the Skip on Wheels.

sunkengalleon · 23/10/2020 21:44

Flick random shit like old receipts, safety pins and copper coins down the back of chests of drawers rather than find a place for them. I take pride in in doing this artistically and with precision.

mercutio12 · 23/10/2020 21:45

When I get a McDonalds, I keep the bag on the floor of my car as a bin. Only throw it away when it gets full and then it's time for a fresh one.

Callardandbowser · 23/10/2020 21:51

Ive found my people on this thread too!
I love the deconstructed standing up fridge meal! I do this all the time!

anothergloriusmorning · 23/10/2020 21:51

I clean with baby wipes quite a lot. Especially the bathroom.

EL8888 · 23/10/2020 21:52

@InTheShadowOfTheMushroomCloud l do a similar manoeuvre but minus the MJ. Mr EL8888 is quite amused by it as well. It’s just efficient surely?!

I also do the monkey feet thing. Ironically my hands aren't very dexterous but my feet are

Let’s see what else.... Bulk making meals -ideally 6 or 8 in one go. Buying clothes that don’t need ironing. Doing as much stuff in bed as is humanly possible

missmouse101 · 23/10/2020 21:53

I use batter mix from packets on pancake day. Also crumble topping from a packet. Cba...

InTheShadowOfTheMushroomCloud · 23/10/2020 21:57

With regards to clothes I buy items in multiples. Eg 10 long sleeved tops, 10 pairs of knickers, four pairs of black jeans, 10 pairs of socks.

Everything is black.

Saves on choosing what to wear.

I am a lazy fucker I know.....

Thirty2andBlue · 23/10/2020 22:01

Give my 3y/o the tablet when she comes into our room first thing in the morning... And then she gets breakfast in our bed too Blush means we get an extra half hour/hours sleep!

Before we got a cleaner, the shower only ever got scrubbed when we had guests BlushBlush DH wants to get rid of the cleaner, but I like having a clean bathroom!

MrsChicken89 · 23/10/2020 22:01

I've just spent £50 on a new echo dot and smart plug so I dont have to move to turn the light on and off when I'm comfy in bed.

Chaotic45 · 23/10/2020 22:01

Brilliant thread.

JJsDinerWaffles · 23/10/2020 22:04

We have a little bowl and spoon that lives by the kettle. Teabags go from the mug into the bowl (bin too far obvs) and live there until one of us caves and puts them all in the bin.

I never iron ever.

paintmywholehousecobweb · 23/10/2020 22:05

Lol @InTheShadowOfTheMushroomCloud 😂

Whererainfalls · 23/10/2020 22:07

I get myself one clean mug and one clean glass in the morning and use the same ones throughout the day without washing them. Meh.

I also very often use the breadboard as a plate if I'm having a sandwich, and then just throw the crumbs off and put it back afterwards.

I'm all about being ecological, doncha know.

TooManyButtons · 23/10/2020 22:07

I did exactly the same, in fact my living room lamps are also on a smart plug so I never have to reach down to switch them on or off. I've even programmed my Google home to switch the downstairs lamps and TV off, and put my bedroom lamp on, on one command, to save even more energy Grin
AriesTheRam · 23/10/2020 22:09

Our Google home, switches the lamp on or off and the TV on or off coz who cba to press a button

SophieGiroux · 23/10/2020 22:14

Having a wee in the shower. Saves water!🚿

HerBigChance · 23/10/2020 22:19

I put the glass lid of my slow cooker through the dishwasher rather than dust it. With a full load of other things, I hasten to add, which 'justifies' it.

Keepingcomfy · 23/10/2020 22:19

If I'm having a chocolate or sweetie that comes in a wrapper, instead of putting it in the bin I throw it across the living room, then pretend to OH that I was playing a 'get it in the vase' game

Whitegrenache · 23/10/2020 22:20

I have a nap 💤 in bed on my lunch hour #wfh

mynameiscalypso · 23/10/2020 22:25

I've also been guilty of buying a film on the Sky Store that I also have on DVD. In my case it's because I didn't want to get off the sofa to unplug something so I could plug the DVD player in instead.

OohThatCat · 23/10/2020 22:30

I don't bother to take the tea bag out my tea. Only works on certain ones like chai's though. I will also drink a cold tea because I can't be arsed to throw it away!

OohThatCat · 23/10/2020 22:31

Also I have never ironed a thing in my life!

MrDarcysMa · 23/10/2020 22:37

I hate putting on the bedding so told my DP that my arms weren't long enough to do king size duvets when we upgraded our bed.

7 years later he still believes it 😂
