Mine won’t be to everyone’s taste at all, but we bought a wall mounted electric fire.

I absolute adore it - it’s thin enough to be unobtrusive, works in our modern home without fireplaces etc, and makes my room feel oh so perfect for autumn and winter.

I’ve had it two weeks and still love it!

The brand is called Jackdaw - I got it in a posh garden centre type place. I got the men’s size as it’s longer. it has a brown leather trim.
seriously, I’ve worn it every day since I got it.

Wine club.

The week before lockdown I bought (what I thought was) a bargain price case of kiwi Sauvignon from Laithwaites, 12 bottle & 2 glasses for £60. It was actually an introductory offer to a wine plan, only realised once I got the confirmation email. I fully intended cancelling it before the second delivery 12 weeks later. The second (and third) deliveries were a god send.

I have now tried to cancel it but they offered me a December delivery for 20% off so will deal with it in the new year.
