Mine won’t be to everyone’s taste at all, but we bought a wall mounted electric fire.

I absolute adore it - it’s thin enough to be unobtrusive, works in our modern home without fireplaces etc, and makes my room feel oh so perfect for autumn and winter.

I’ve had it two weeks and still love it!

My wetsuit - I spent the summer lake swimming and it was heavenly.

My Neom oil diffuser.

Two massive hoodies from Monki. They go halfway down to my knees and are so warm and comfy. They feel like staying in bed.

Tasmanian merino wool loungewear. I bought three pairs of these: www.smittenmerino.com/products/womens-merino-wool-lounge-fleece-lounge-pants-pa00012
Have literally worn a pair every single day since the first lockdown. Totally and utterly life changing.

PatchworkElmer · 24/10/2020 05:18

A rebounder- great for pandemic exercise. Likewise, my chest light for running.

TrickyD · 24/10/2020 08:39

Nice to see several posters choosing their Eufy Robovac.
I am a Eufy parent and also a Eufy Grandparent as DS1 was so impressed with ours that he bought one. (I’ve never seen your carpets so clean, Mum).
He has the hybrid which mops as he has a lot of tiled floors and is delighted with it. Planning to get another for carpeted upstairs.

crazycadetmum · 24/10/2020 08:47

My bean to coffee machine bought during lockdown with money saved from not going out doing other probably unnecessary shopping.

PaddyF0dder · 24/10/2020 08:51

Peloton.

Good Lord it was worth it.

Chasingsquirrels · 24/10/2020 08:55

I can't decide between the hot tub and the eufy!

islandtime · 24/10/2020 09:15

Which of the hybrid robo vacuum / mop would you all recommend? Thanks

QueenofLouisiana · 24/10/2020 09:26

Caravan. Perfectly socially distanced holidays over the summer. Utterly chilled time away, no expectations of perfect pool pics, no airport.

Titsywoo · 24/10/2020 09:30

Ooni koda pizza oven. We've used it so much especially through lockdown. Proper pizza!

TrickyD · 24/10/2020 09:37

Islandtime, DS1 has the G10. He is very pleased with it. If you start with a clean floor it will keep it up and leave a gentle gleam. It does not have the central roller that our G30 has so not so good with carpets. You are advised not to leave it working at night, presumably because of possible leaks.
The L70 is considerably more expensive, but it has the central roller so it is better on carpets, also a map function so it sets about its task more purposefully.

andadietcoke · 24/10/2020 09:44

A lot of mine are lockdown clichés but really trying to make home and the garden as an extension of the space, a place that we want to be so firepit, hot tub, ooni pizza oven, and an Oodie so I can sit outside by the fire with a book.

Olaplex - can finally let my naturally curly hair air dry without a halo of frizz appearing.

Riv12345 · 24/10/2020 10:23

All the best

islandtime · 24/10/2020 15:56

@TrickyD wow you are not wrong about the price difference! I think I might go for one that just hoovers not mops! Thanks for your help

HPandTheNeverEndingBedtime · 24/10/2020 16:01

A laptop for Dd the day before we went into lockdown, she's an only child and it's just the two of us but she was able to stay in contact with her friends which kept us both same.

Thatwentbadly · 24/10/2020 16:09

Eufy.

Is an instant pot the same as a slow cooker?

Graffitiqueen · 24/10/2020 16:21

Eufy robot hoover. Best thing I've ever bought probably!

orangejuicer · 24/10/2020 16:23

A toastie maker Grin delicious cheese!

DinkBoo · 24/10/2020 16:36

I spent less than £20 on a new washing airer, and about the same on multipeg hanger majiggers (sock hangers?) and it has made me happier than anything else this year Confused

I can dry a load of washing far more quickly now, then fold away the airers, and contain it in one room, rather than it spreading through the house for days on end. Makes all the extra masks less of an annoyance too.

Chaotic45 · 24/10/2020 17:24

Argh, I'm now on the verge of buying a very expensive instant pot!

FatGirlShrinking · 24/10/2020 17:34

@Foxyloxy1plus1

Bilateral cataract surgery. I can drive again.
@Foxyloxy1plus1 what was the surgery like? I had a retina reattachment surgery 3 years ago and found out the other week when I went to the opticians that I'm developing a film over the replacement lens they put in so will be going on the waiting list for removal but the optician said I'd need to wait for hospital referral to find out the details of the surgery.

My Best Buy so far has been my Apple Watch.

womanaf · 24/10/2020 17:42

Tikiboo leggings for the endless walks...

JacobReesMogadishu · 24/10/2020 17:50

An Occulus Quest VR headset. When I was stuck inside I could put It on and use the Wander app and go for a walk round Ayers Rock or round Paris and go in museums and art galleries, etc.

Champagneforeveryone · 24/10/2020 17:54

Dog the robot hoover

A fan for the top of the log burner. Our house has never been so warm.

And DCat, who we were not expecting as we had planned to rescue a cat in the new year (in the times when we actually went on holiday and had plans) Lockdown bought this forward and we couldn't be more thrilled.
