Must be getting on for 4 years now

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 08/10/2020 18:22

Pub, can’t remember. Restaurant would have been December/January as remember Feb looking like it was going to get bad and so started to avoid places.

Camomila · 08/10/2020 18:25

Saturday - the food was good but the atmosphere was stressed, will probably stick to take away/outdoor venues until next year.

caringcarer · 08/10/2020 18:43

Went out for a meal on Monday and again on Wednesday. Before that Sunday lunch time. I say go out whilst we can because before long we will get another lock down of restraunts and pubs.

Silvergreen · 08/10/2020 18:44

I'm writing this from the cold beer garden of a pub 😂

vanillandhoney · 08/10/2020 18:44

About ten days ago. Going tomorrow night too.

motorcyclenumptiness · 08/10/2020 18:49

A month ago, meal in a restaurant in Manchester with 3 friends.

Today! First time since a pub garden back in July.

I felt really safe at first, they seem to sd tables but then more and more people packed in.. And not a single window was open, it was becoming really stuffy.

When I asked to open a window the lady next to me shot me an absolutely filthy look, the people on the other side said it was stuffy... I said I was thinking just for a moment, more due to covid than anything else. The lady said nastily, just a moment.
Then the one tiny window was opened a fraction, she immediately made a show of tightly wrapping her shawl around herself and shivering... Within seconds of it being open.

Thankfully we were just finishing up.
I thought it was extraordinary, there were 6 of us on that row and I was the only one thinking of covid and some fresh air.

It's a shame. A great shame.
Winter will be horrific. People are more worried about a tiny bit of fresh air or being cold than breathing in covid aerosols and coming down with covid.
. Dh shut the window and she didn't even say anything.

Last saturday

timeforanewstart · 09/10/2020 23:08

Will say most of the pubs/ restaurants i have been too i have felt safer and more comfortable than doing the supermarket shop
Very strange having to leave by 10 though but they were rightly so very strict on it and everyone asked to leave at 5 to 10

elliejjtiny · 09/10/2020 23:09

February

PanamaPattie · 09/10/2020 23:16

Every week. Local restaurants. Very COVID aware. I feel very safe.

clipclop5 · 10/10/2020 13:01

Wednesday for dinner. We are actively going a lot more in order to support restaurants and cafes after the hell they’ve been through this year

Crunchymum · 10/10/2020 14:37

Restaurant 4th September (we ate outside) pub 21st Sept (again we sat outside)

Before that it was February when I was last out to eat and I cannot even think of last time I was in a pub pre lockdown.

Sexnotgender · 10/10/2020 14:40

This morning, had brunch with my husband and toddler.

PimlicoJo · 10/10/2020 14:41

Last night to the pub. Very civilised, I had a lovely time.

MarcelineMissouri · 10/10/2020 19:07

Currently in pizza express. There is no way family restaurants like this are driving the spread.

Westfacing · 10/10/2020 19:17

Last weekend in Hastings - nice pubs & restaurants. I'll continue to go to my local places in London for as long as possible. It's my civic duty!

Use the NHS app in all places - all well.

maddy68 · 10/10/2020 19:41

Lunchtime today

ceeveebee · 10/10/2020 19:43

Today (well, more of a cafe than a restaurant). North west so could be my last chance for a while

Daisychainsandglitter · 10/10/2020 19:44

Yesterday evening. We can't go round anyone's house here so have been meeting up in pubs/restaurants instead.
