About a year ago for me.

Sunday - the weather was nice and we sat outside. It was lovely

wowfudge · 07/10/2020 22:31

This evening - had a cocktail and a lovely main course. We're on holiday in the UK.

November last year Sad

Last time in a restaurant was in February, for an Indian meal for our son’s birthday. I think the last time I went to a pub was between Christmas and New Year last year.

No idea when I’ll feel like going back into either.

Friday 20th March!
Just can't be arsed at the moment - too much bloody planning in advance...

Dee1975 · 07/10/2020 22:34

I went 2 1/2 weeks ago to a pub / night out with friends. Wasn’t sure about going, Nearly pulled out - but decided to go in the end.

However, whilst I had a great night with friends I worried for 2 weeks after. (Wasn’t as much SD as I would have liked). Obvs feel better about it now (no symptoms). But don’t think I’ll bother again until we are out the other side.

Before that - the last time i went to the pub was in Barcelona end of feb (sooo glad we had a weekend away before lockdown!)
We don’t get out that often anyway (young children) so it doesn’t effect me massively. But I think I’ll be ready for a big blow out once we get to the ‘other side’ ...!

Today. But also have been a lot recently to coffee shops/cafes. I’m in Scotland and can’t meet anyone inside my house or theirs.

Went to a cafe for lunch with my octogenarian grandma today. Lovely. Smile
She's enjoying getting out and enjoying life after being ill at the start of the year and gaining a bonus stubborn chest infection while in hospital... then a DVT scare... Anyway after quiet recuperation, she's ready to live life to the full while she can having lost two friends to cancer in as many months.

Early March.

Ninkanink · 07/10/2020 22:35

Oh and must make it clear I’m not worried about Covid at all. I just can’t be bothered with all the paranoia circus, utterly meaningless and nonsensical rules, and being herded about like cattle and barked orders at about masks/gel and god knows what else.

NoSquirrels · 07/10/2020 22:36

Indoor cafe for lunch - last week. Enormous space so very ventilated.

Outdoor coffee shop - end August.

Outdoor chip shop for EOTHO - early August.
Outdoor burger joint - early August.

Indoor posh restaurant - mid March.

That’s pretty much it. We’ve supported local restaurants with takeaway etc throughout.

elephantoverthehill · 07/10/2020 22:36

We did Eat out to help out once a week whilst I was WFH. Breakfasts mostly and eating outside when we could.

Saturday - met 2 friends for lunch. I'm carrying on meeting friends and going out with family where possible, and taking appropriate measures to minimise risk, as unfortunately I don't think we will get 'to the other side' any time soon, and don't want to regret not seeing people. Sad

Megan2018 · 07/10/2020 22:50

July, it had a massive garden and we didn’t go inside at all. It is the only time we’ve been out to eat since March.

Merename · 07/10/2020 22:51

Yesterday, a friend for brunch.

Limer · 07/10/2020 22:53

About 9 days ago. Going out to lunch on Friday and out for a meal on Saturday evening.
We like eating out and have returned to doing it regularly since restaurants reopened.

gurglebelly · 07/10/2020 23:01

A couple of weeks ago. But have 4 meals out booked over the next two weeks (big birthday)
