Dh went to a pub 2 weeks ago, for the first time in 6 months. He's now got covid.

I'm not going fucking near them till a vaccine.

SkiingIsHeaven · 07/10/2020 23:40

Two weeks ago.

Lovely place on Anglesey.

Delicious lobster, no kids, very clean and safe. Bliss.

bibbitybobbitycats · 07/10/2020 23:40

Two weeks ago. It was so lovely to eat something I hadn't cooked. Got over excited and drank a bit too much! Will go again soon depending on how things pan out in next week or two (we are now in a local lockdown)..

ssd I hope your husband makes a swift recovery.

Breakfast. Lunch. Drinks.dinner. More drinks. More drinks. More drinks.

It’s an average. A Saturday can easily be 10-12 different places, same on a Sunday or a Tuesday which is our other day off[/quote]

I can't imagine having enough time in my day for this let alone being able to pay for it Shock

MajesticWhine · 07/10/2020 23:47

I had Sunday lunch out with friends. And going out for dinner tomorrow night.

notso · 07/10/2020 23:50

Pub, Sunday we sat outside for a drink.
Restaurant last week of August DH was off work and we ate out every day.

Quaagars · 07/10/2020 23:53

A couple of weeks ago

bearcable · 07/10/2020 23:55

Went to a restaurant last Monday for our wedding anniversary lunch (with dc in tow, so not at all romantic).

Not concerned about the risk, but not eating out as much as we used to, mainly because we'd rather do other days out with the dc instead.

5lilducks · 07/10/2020 23:56

About 2 weeks before lockdown started.

skippy67 · 08/10/2020 00:11

Restaurant yesterday, and was in another restaurant followed by a pub on Sunday.

KoalaRabbit · 08/10/2020 02:38

About a year ago other than for takeaways.

KoalaRabbit · 08/10/2020 02:39

Terrace58 · 08/10/2020 03:09

March.

Will not be going again any time soon.

Rookie93 · 08/10/2020 04:36

Saturday afternoon on the way back from shopping. Stopped off for a couple of drinks at a local pub/resturant. Felt safe but then not busy in middle of a v wet afternoon.

DelphineWalsh · 08/10/2020 04:52

March 5th. Just before our last gig of this year.

Suzi888 · 08/10/2020 04:59

Last week with my mum and hopefully tomorrow too.

HeronLanyon · 08/10/2020 05:23

Yesterday for the first time since mid March !!!
My whole adult life Ive gone to restaurant/bar several times a week so the last 7 months have been bizarre.
This lib had well separated tables outside and wasn’t busy.
It was brilliant just to do the familiar thing of ordering drinks and chatting whilst sitting down in a public place. Felt totally normal and as if I’d never been away !

Afwan · 08/10/2020 05:34

Last pub visit was Christmas time last year. Aimed to get back to UK for April (live abroad) but have been locked in since. Borders slowly reopening but wondering if should just hang on until Dec when we hope to get back for Christmas, or risk a mini break in the region.

I miss pubs! and proper alcohol

Afwan · 08/10/2020 05:35

That's what I'm looking forward to Heron

Waxonwaxoff0 · 08/10/2020 05:51

3 weeks ago to a restaurant, to a bar last Saturday night. I'm carrying on going to them as often as I normally would, booked in for dinner next week. They need the support.
