About a year ago for me.

Today, the day before... most days

BusterTheBulldog · 07/10/2020 23:03

Tonight. Few times a week generally.

Spottybluepyjamas · 07/10/2020 23:04

Friday lunchtime with my husband. Normally a few times a month at the moment.

AgeLikeWine · 07/10/2020 23:04

Monday 2nd March. I had dinner at the Airbrau brewpub at Munich airport before flying back to the U.K. I haven’t been into a pub or restaurant since, and have no plans to do so until this nightmare is over.

PickAChew · 07/10/2020 23:08

On my birthday, a year ago. Dh and I had lunch at a teppenyaki restaurant. Us, a couple of guys and another guy on his own all crowded round the hotplate, with the chef. I doubt if we could do that again this year if we wanted to.

CandyflossKid · 07/10/2020 23:10

Yesterday evening

Downwithcovid · 07/10/2020 23:12

Lucky enough to live where these places are all open completely as normal and think I have been to at least one pub/restaurant/cafe eve day since about May when lockdown ended.

Probably actually averages about 5 a day

bengalcat · 07/10/2020 23:13

Last Friday - we usually dine out / meet up with friends 1-2 weekly

You must be loaded.

Downwithcovid · 07/10/2020 23:17

Why on earth would you visit 5 a day Confused

Putmynewshoeson · 07/10/2020 23:19

September for breakfast a few times but all outside
Apart from that just done takeaway coffees
Had way too many home takeaways though

We aren't really meeting friends much at the moment as a lot of them have just said fuck it to any kind of distancing now and our son might have an underlying condition which could make Covid very nasty for him if he got it so we are still having to play it quite safe :( really hoping it doesn't take us too long to get to the other side, its wearing we now and I feel like everyone else is moving on without us.

Downwithcovid · 07/10/2020 23:19

@emptyshelvesagain

Breakfast. Lunch. Drinks.dinner. More drinks. More drinks. More drinks.

It’s an average. A Saturday can easily be 10-12 different places, same on a Sunday or a Tuesday which is our other day off

Last time for me was early last year

Imissmoominmama · 07/10/2020 23:21

About two weeks ago; it was not a relaxing experience.

TheOrigRights · 07/10/2020 23:23

Tonight with 3 friends. First time I've sat inside since lockdown. 6 people in total, we stayed seating the whole time Ajax just talked. We are in a very low risk rural area.

BikeRunSki · 07/10/2020 23:24

A month ago on holiday (remote bit of Scotland) - pub meal a couple of evenings one week.

Prior to that...... probably last year.

MrsMayo · 07/10/2020 23:25

Last Sunday, has to drop something off to a friend in the pub. Experience was very safe, wine was lovely, will not rush back though. I feel sorry for the pub trade.

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 07/10/2020 23:25

Last night. We debated whether to go to tescos and buy food for dinner or go to a Moroccon restaurant in town.
Dilemma was about how safe we'd be eating out - decided we were safer eating out (staff in masks, plastic partitions and no one else there but us) than going to tesco to shop. Which was true but bloody expensive so can't do that every time cupboards are bare.

megletthesecond · 07/10/2020 23:28

February.

40somethingJBJ · 07/10/2020 23:28

February half term when I visited a friend in Spain, and coronavirus was just starting to rear it’s head. Seems like a lifetime ago.

OlegBurov · 07/10/2020 23:29

Last night. Eating out loads at the moment, trying to visit all the independents in town.

Toontown · 07/10/2020 23:30

Last night. Was lovely. Eating out is my favourite thing.

gluteustothemaximus · 07/10/2020 23:30

We don't ever. Too expensive. Can eat and drink better at home.

NameChange84 · 07/10/2020 23:30

Restaurant would have been February

Pub I can’t remember if it was Nov or Jan
