Where the hell did these jeans go?!

Took them out of the wardrobe, turned around and put them on the chest of drawers, answered a text, nipped for a wee and came back and they've gone.

No one else in the house, the room is tiny, definitely not still in the wardrobe or down the back of drawers.

Where the hell are they?!

Are you wearing them?

dimdarkashian · 04/10/2020 12:20

In the bathroom

HopeClearwater · 04/10/2020 12:20

Dirty linen basket?

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 04/10/2020 12:22

I did just look down incase I was wearing them Grin but no!

Not in bathroom and there’s 4 feet between bedroom door and bathroom door so not Inbetween

This is ridiculous!

I know you ask for st Anthony’s help when somethings lost but who’s help do you ask for when a poltergeist has potentially stolen your favourite jeans?!

Downstairs. You've taken them down without realising. Or the same sort of naughty ghost who lives here who always moves stuff

Smallsteps88 · 04/10/2020 12:26

Grin

I do stuff like this too.

Are they in your other hand? Grin

Chameleon2003 · 04/10/2020 12:27

Professor Solomon says that things aren't lost - they have just temporarily slipped out of sight. Usually within a few centimetres of where they should be but fallen behind something.....

Smallsteps88 · 04/10/2020 12:28

Took them out of the wardrobe, turned around and put them on the chest of drawers, answered a text, nipped for a wee and came back and they've gone.

You need to retrace your steps exactly. Where was the phone when you went to reply to the text? Go there. Repeat your actions.

Seeingadistance · 04/10/2020 12:29

On the bed, under the duvet.

PineconeOfDoom · 04/10/2020 12:29

Washing basket?

BoudiccasBoudoir · 04/10/2020 12:29

An alligator climbed out of the toilet, and dragged them down the plumbing for the sewer mutants to wear.

Either that or down the back of the chest of drawers

wishingitwasfriday · 04/10/2020 12:30

Back of the drawers. I've done it myself before!

LadyCatStark · 04/10/2020 12:31

On the bed under the duvet.

ApolloandDaphne · 04/10/2020 12:40

They are under your towel.

BoudiccasBoudoir · 04/10/2020 12:44

The borrowers have taken them to make their Halloween costumes this year. They are going teeny tiny trick or treating as the 90s era backstreet boys

SequinSmile · 04/10/2020 13:51

In the fridge. Everything I lose these days seems to end up in the fridge. I'm taking it as a sign that I need to stop snacking Grin

BoudiccasBoudoir · 04/10/2020 14:08

They've fallen through the back of the wardrobe to Narnia.

Is the chest of drawers near a window? Or is there a radiator they may fallen down the back of?

MissMarplesHandbag · 04/10/2020 14:38

Back in the drawers.

MissMarplesHandbag · 04/10/2020 14:38

Or back in the wardrobe

MarshmallowsOnToast · 04/10/2020 14:46

Come on, we need to know where they were!! Blush

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 04/10/2020 14:51

Had to go out wearing different jeans! Still have no idea where they went! It’s absolutely bizarre!

Retraced steps, picked up anything it could be under, moved cupboard

Nothing!

I lost a chopping board for 12 months once it ended up down the back of the living room radiator there is literally NO REASON for it to be in that ROOM let alone down the back of the radiator how did it even fit? Total mystery! I had it bsck for a few months then promptly melted it on my cooker Hmm

Smallsteps88 · 04/10/2020 14:59

@slipperywhensparticus my DS used to steal my chopping boards to play with play doh on. Do you have children?

RandomMess · 04/10/2020 15:04

You put them back in the wardrobe...

picklemewalnuts · 04/10/2020 15:08

Does anyone know where the ironing board was, in the end? Perhaps OP could look there for her jeans.
