Curry I hope you do not mind?
I put the last message in, and didn't find a new thread. Which I found disquiting, so to calm my nerves here goes.

Back from work, DD is still out and has taken a large part of the brownies with her Miss please share you recipe for my collection..

The friends DH stayed with at the weekend run - alongside their jobs - a red squirrel sanctuary. There are lots that are going to be returned to nature according to a plan and those whose injuries were to severe can lead their lives in a large outdoor space.
DH wanted to take fotos but they were to fast - he got mostly empty branches.

@Taswama sounds like you've raised a good 'un there Grin

I fed ds the bolognese but really was not in the mood for it myself. I'm too bloody tired to be hungry. I might have some soup later.

It's a soup sort of day.

I have finished submitting the dental insurance claim. As I got the paperwork together I realized that they gave me a treatment statement from 2014 when I left the office on Friday, so I called rang them and they emailed me the correct treatment statement. Now it's all faxed off to the insurance company. They are very good on prompt payment and will likely transfer the money by Friday.

I've now finished sorting through my winter running socks and gloves. Socks are good. Lightweight gloves and glove liners are good. One of my heavy winter gloves has gone missing and the other one is knackered, so I've splurged on a new pair of GoreTex ones from Amazon. I've also straightened out the shelves where I keep all of this, so am feeling truly ready to meet the season.

I'll now box up DS's brownies. I might have to eat one to make sure they meet standards. Grin

We didn't have a roast yesterday.

The dog has gone all pretend-scared and wussy about a few raindrops - the big ould galumph bless his big furry paws.

Went shopping but forgot to buy Oxo cubes.

Taswama · 12/10/2020 19:01

Thanks @BillywigSting . Cake tasted yummy too.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 12/10/2020 19:02

@MissConductUS

Your recipe seems to be very different from those in my little book. Do you want to share the recipe?

I am still hoping for red squirrel pics but no, not one.

I saw a thread mentioning falafals and it has promoted me to think about making them, contemplating putting some chickpeas on to soak.

KoalaRabbit · 12/10/2020 19:11

DH was off work today, he said to do tasks around the house but the only task he seemed to do was sleeping. Grin

DS and DD are back from school. DS asked if the vitamin tablets were for him, said yes and he seemed happy. DH is at his piano lesson.

I've been told to stop the antibiotics as making me itchy, dizzy and drowsy but still feel achy and nauseous, itchy and drowsy. DS is just feeding his silkie chickens.

I'm happy to share the recipe. I have it as a PDF file. Anyone who wants it can PM me with their email address and I will email it.

I call them "Death by Chocolate Brownies". Grin

Nydj · 12/10/2020 19:29

MsConductUS, I don’t know about the payment issue for your son although DS didn’t appear to use cash at all during his first year at uni - just his contactless debit card if that’s any help?

I have a spot under my chin. Am trying very hard not to squeeze it.

Nydj · 12/10/2020 19:32

I should point out that Ds was in England and not in Ireland when he was using his contactless card.

EggyPegg · 12/10/2020 19:44

I found my sunglasses this afternoon. Now, if I could only find my Kindle...

bearlyactive · 12/10/2020 19:44

I have made my famous brownies for the first time since before lockdown... I'd forgotten how nice they are!

bearlyactive · 12/10/2020 19:45

Whoops, not trying to brag, I didn't realise brownies were already a topic! Teaches me to read before posting...

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 12/10/2020 19:47

Your Kindle is with our camping insulation mat, which I took from my DC about 15 years ago with the words: Give it to me I put is somewhere safe!
And I have never seen it again.

I found a kindle the other day @EggyPegg- yours wasn’t in an orange case, was it?

soddingkitten · 12/10/2020 20:27

If you find my watch (misplaced during lockdown), give me a shout.

Sodding rounded off his day of chaos by bombing another meeting this afternoon. Everyone on the call got a close-up of his anus and tail. Terrific. I hope it is sunny tomorrow and he spends most of the day in the garden.

BillywigSting · 12/10/2020 20:27

I have just cleaned Ds's kindle and case because they were unpleasantly sticky

Squirrel26 · 12/10/2020 20:46

I’m watching TV but not really concentrating. Might have some cake.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 12/10/2020 20:52

I spent much of the day applying magnolia paint to various walls. I will dream in magnolia tonight.

My dogs are snoring.

Taswama · 12/10/2020 20:57

We are missing DS1's watch. It was a Christmas present and good quality. He wore it to school but not at the weekend. He took it off in March and it took us a month to notice it was missing but its not been seen since.

Specialgodson · 12/10/2020 21:26

I don’t think our post lady came today. She’s been on holiday for a week and makes her own hand cream when she has time .

A few pigeons gathered in our garden soon after breakfast. I don’t know what they did next but heard something on the roof later.

Apocalyptichorsewoman · 12/10/2020 21:31

I had some rather nice baked haddock for tea. I also remembered to book myself in for a mammogram. Now I'm contemplating having a scone before bed.

Imissmoominmama · 12/10/2020 21:33

I emailed two separate companies about returning items today; neither of them have answered.
