Curry I hope you do not mind?
I put the last message in, and didn't find a new thread. Which I found disquiting, so to calm my nerves here goes.

Having similar crisp issues here. I had 6 packs of chicken crisps in my Sainsburys order the other day, same evening wanted a pack of crisps and DS had eaten all 6, as well as 6 apples and all the grapes. It did explain why he was living in the bathroom that day though.

DH got me some more crisps with green bits so DS won't eat them, having them now.

QuestionableMouse · 06/10/2020 22:42

Feel grotty. I'm really hoping it's the start of a cold and not covid... I don't have any covid symptoms but I feel crap. 😕😕😕🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

sueelleker · 07/10/2020 08:38

QuestionableMouse. There is a nasty cold germ going round; my DH had it all last week, but is feeling better now.

OublietteBravo · 07/10/2020 08:38

I was 6 minutes late for my 08:00 virtual meeting because I had to replace the battery in my mouse.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 07/10/2020 08:51

The nail varnish has fallen off my little toe.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 07/10/2020 08:53

Everyone in our house is either depressed or has a cold or both or its long covid. Very hard to tell.

8:00 AM is a bit early for a meeting, innit?
Champagneforeveryone · 07/10/2020 09:05

I was violated by my chiropractor yesterday and feel rather delicate today.

Today should be a rest day but in reality is a day of Getting Shit Done. I have to go into work tomorrow (on a rest day) for a training course which I'm rather miffed about. I get the day back at a much more convenient time so I should be pleased really.

OublietteBravo · 07/10/2020 09:15

@MissConductUS - the joys of working in a global role for a multinational company. Meetings with Asia are always early (and then meetings with the Americas run into your evenings). Plus all global meetings completely take out lunchtime if you’re based in the U.K.

Spudlet · 07/10/2020 09:24

I just dropped the F-bomb at school drop-off time Blush (DS was being a little bugger, running around right next to the road, and I was stuck holding our bikes until I managed to prop them up and sprint over to catch him, so it was a bit of a stressful moment...)

That’s me struck off the potential PTA list, isn’t it?

Notstayingup · 07/10/2020 09:46

I had porridge with almond milk for breakfast - I also had banana and almond butter in it - it was nice

MissConductUS · 07/10/2020 10:33

I'm just back from my run. I saw a skunk and several deer, so the nocturnal critters are out.

@OublietteBravo and then meetings with the Americas run into your evenings

This has given my head a wobble. In NY, we're currently four hours behind you, and someone in California would be seven hours behind. So a meeting in my evening (say 7:00 PM) would be 11:00 PM in the UK. Why would a meeting with the Americans be so late for both of you?

This assumes of course that you are in the UK.

Thanks. Woke up feeling better today so no idea. 🤷🏻‍♀️😕🤔

I'm eating crumpets with lots of cream cheese. Yummy.

Imissmoominmama · 07/10/2020 11:03

The compeed plasters worked- I feel renewed.

A man up a telegraph pole saw me in all my naked glory earlier. I don’t know who was more shocked.

giletrouge · 07/10/2020 11:32

I've done half an hour's yoga this morning. I've really missed it but I've neglected it for years now. Would so love to keep it up but I'm trying not to put any pressure on myself because I know - for me - that doesn't work.
Hope all the people who are not feeling well are feeling better soon.
QuestionableMouse glad you're better. May I take this opportunity to say how much I love your name? It's one I always notice and feel warm towards. Smile

ExerciseBeaver · 07/10/2020 11:34

Someone is doing DIY in my block. It is loud and I need to work. I feel resentment.

FawnDrench · 07/10/2020 12:18

Hoping this brisk wind will dry my washing in double-quick time.

Just scratched my left elbow as it was as a tad itchy.

Might sweep up a few leaves later if I can be bothered.

Spudlet · 07/10/2020 12:34

Just back from a run through the sunny autumn woods with my aged doglet. We walked and ran two minutes on and off, in deference to his advanced age and my mildly buggered ankle, foot, knee and hip flexor. Pleased to report virtually no complaints from any of the needy joints, and ddog was initially surprised but then delighted at the brisker pace and being mostly off-lead - he’s deaf so generally is on a flexi-lead, but when we’re running he doesn’t have as much time to go off into the undergrowth (plus DH is not there to panic and insist he goes onto the lead - I’m a bit more gung-ho about it all).

Feeling very happy here now!

Frownette · 07/10/2020 12:58

I saw someone yesterday who makes me smile :)

BillywigSting · 07/10/2020 13:31

I'm making soup with a bit of leftover roast gammon and a casserole veg pack. I wish I had a stick blender.

Ds has decided he is ready to give up his toot toot drivers stuff. It's a bit bittersweet because he had hours and hours of fun with it. He is 7 now though and is keeping his brio and a few other more fiddly /detailed train track type things.

I'm going to put it in the spare room in case he asks for it in the next few weeks.

I have more mushrooms in my grass. I have no idea how to be rid of them.

kitschplease · 07/10/2020 13:40

Might hoover, might go for a walk. Can't decide.

cheeseychovolate · 07/10/2020 14:33

Just waiting for the gas man to fix my boiler

Whenwillow · 07/10/2020 14:47

Oh @BillywigSting I'm doing just the same thing, but with leftover chicken. I have a stick blender which is useful, but I treated myself to a proper liquidiser recently and it makes things so easy!

soddingkitten · 07/10/2020 15:00

I am home-working today. DH and I had (reheated) jacket potatoes with tuna mayo for lunch. Sodding licked the empty tuna mayo bowl clean while we were eating. DH laughed when he saw it and said it looked like it had already been through the dishwasher. He’s now sleeping it off in my home office.

soddingkitten · 07/10/2020 15:04

DH let Sodding lick his empty plate too. Shock Usually DS2 tells us off for letting him develop bad habits. Grin
