What the HELL its going on with my body?!

I've NC'd as I'm so embarrassed.

Backstory;
Went to docs a few months ago because stomach keeps on moving like a baby is in there(I've had two). She looked said I've probably got a more prominent heartbeat there or something. She had a feel and couldn't feel anything like a baby.

I was lying in bed last night and it was like something kicked under my ribs, just like my son used to. I've had it today too and the top half of my stomach looks and feels like a bump but I'm putting that down to weight. I can't lie on my front at night as it's too uncomfortable. Many negative urine tests.

I'm not mentally tricking myself into thinking I'm pregnant. I don't want another baby for many reasons so it's not like I want to believe in it but what the hell is this? It's so similar to when my son used to kick me under my ribs. It doesn't hurt but it's uncomfortable and keeps happening (since last night).

Worms?

FedHimToTigersTheySnackin · 23/09/2020 22:43

Hope you get answers OP, it does sound very strange!

Dinocan · 23/09/2020 22:48

Could it just be a bad muscle spasm? I have these quite often, they feel exactly like a babies kicks and it’s so unsettling. I had one today actually that felt like something hard and twisted up under my ribs when I got up a bit funny. Do you do a lot of exercise/ab workouts? It’s never occurred to me that I could be something bad?!

I have hiatus hernia, get this with wind, very unsettling. I also have get wind with roughage try to eat healthily but it can have this side effect.

On the other hand a baby is a possibility.

longcoffeebreak · 23/09/2020 23:12

I can't believe you haven't done another test Confused

Pandacub7 · 23/09/2020 23:21

It could be anything. A baby. Wind. Constipation. IBS. Something else. An ultrasound would be ideal to check for anything potentially more serious.

FantasticRik1 · 23/09/2020 23:38

Sounds very strange. Good luck with the GP.

OhioOhioOhio · 23/09/2020 23:41

Yeah, good luck.

whatthehellis · 24/09/2020 09:44

Did you try drinking something sweet and tart to see if it moved more?

BugCatcher879 · 24/09/2020 15:01

IrishCream123 · 24/09/2020 15:24

IrishCream123 · 24/09/2020 16:09

Clearly a faulty test

zippityzip · 24/09/2020 16:11

I've never seen a test like that?!

Apparently if you're further than 12 weeks the tests can show negative as the placenta takes over hormone production.

You're meant to dilute your urine and then dip the tests.

But whatever it is. Good luck!

inappropriateraspberry · 24/09/2020 16:29

Have you actually weed on it?

gamerchick · 24/09/2020 16:49

I’m a gynaecologist.
Pregnancy tests can become negative around 16 weeks, so a negative test with a very advanced- sounding bump doesn’t exclude you being pregnant.
Tests may stay positive though. Clear he (digital or otherwise) are no more reliable than any cheap test - but make sure you don’t have ovulation tests by accident!
You need an urgent ultrasound scan of the pelvis, OP - please request this of your GP ASAP. They can refer you in to gynae the same day if they suspect a pelvic mass, baby or other cause, plus you have pain. At least someone can properly examine you.
Bleeds during pregnancy not uncommon - especially if you are still using any hormonal contraception.

quince2figs · 24/09/2020 17:04

Clearblue, not Clear he!

OhioOhioOhio · 24/09/2020 17:28

Omg. I hope you get to a doctor soon.
