What the HELL its going on with my body?!

I've NC'd as I'm so embarrassed.

Backstory;
Went to docs a few months ago because stomach keeps on moving like a baby is in there(I've had two). She looked said I've probably got a more prominent heartbeat there or something. She had a feel and couldn't feel anything like a baby.

I was lying in bed last night and it was like something kicked under my ribs, just like my son used to. I've had it today too and the top half of my stomach looks and feels like a bump but I'm putting that down to weight. I can't lie on my front at night as it's too uncomfortable. Many negative urine tests.

I'm not mentally tricking myself into thinking I'm pregnant. I don't want another baby for many reasons so it's not like I want to believe in it but what the hell is this? It's so similar to when my son used to kick me under my ribs. It doesn't hurt but it's uncomfortable and keeps happening (since last night).

@IrishCream123 it's fine, I guess so but not had sex for about two months. Prior to that it was very irregular and not very often.

Very strange. Lots of the signs are pointing to pregnancy but you’d be quite far into it to be feeling kicks under the ribs.
I was 7 months gone when I found out I was pregnant the first time though so I’m quite open minded about the possibility!!

I have a hernia it pops out and looks like an alien especially if I try to pull my stomach in

Today's update:

Taken 2 tests but no lines on either- must be dud packet. Asked colleague to feel my stomach (no explanation and we're close so it wasn't weird) and she said straight away she felt something moving. Also had pains today. Will call docs in the morning. What do you think it is? The waiting is so hard! She felt it from top of stomach to bottom but it's all on the left hand side and nothing on the right. TIA.

I would seek medical advice asap OP

Shedpaint · 23/09/2020 18:49

Lots of things it could be but you need to see a GP ASAP and have a proper examination

Have you been using contraception?

whatthehellis · 23/09/2020 18:52

I don't get it. I've had regular periods so it can't be a baby?

daisychain1620 · 23/09/2020 18:54

This is very strange and I'm sure your head is all over the place. Good luck with your gp.

Itisbetter · 23/09/2020 18:55

Drink some orange juice and lie down on the sofa

whatthehellis · 23/09/2020 18:55

Why @Itisbetter ? It isn't wind

OP posts:
strappedup · 23/09/2020 19:01

Bodies are weird

CorianderLord · 23/09/2020 19:05

I'd get in quickly, bodies are strange things but it could be anything.

Oh and some women have periods throughout pregnancy

CorianderLord · 23/09/2020 19:05

Or what looks like periods anyway

Itisbetter · 23/09/2020 19:12

Because it makes babies kick hard (no idea what it would do for wind, is that a thing?)

Jeremyironseverything · 23/09/2020 19:16

It's probably wind. Get someone to massage your shoulder blades and mid back. See if that relieves it.

Xiaoxiong · 23/09/2020 19:25

I have seen threads like yours many times and it could be a baby. Even with periods. Definitely poas that isn't a dud, and get yourself checked out again ASAP!!

jackfruitz · 23/09/2020 19:32

There was a thread recently where a person thought they felt something move and turned out they were pregnant and about 30 weeks! If you search “it wasn’t wind it was a baby” I’m sure it will pop up! Also know someone who had periods and missed one, assumed she was 12 weeks at the scan and turned out she was 25 weeks! Definitely get checked out by the GP again just to rule out other possibilities. Good luck and keep us posted!

whatthehellis · 23/09/2020 19:36

I will do @jackfruitz. It's moving literally. It's honestly not wind but I'm worried it's something more sinister. It doesn't feel like any other pregnancy, other than the jabbing feeling under the rib!

OP posts:
RantAndDec · 23/09/2020 19:38

If your friend felt it moving, I do think it's probably wind or IBS.

whatthehellis · 23/09/2020 19:40

But it feels hard @RantAndDec

OP posts:
whatthehellis · 23/09/2020 19:46

As in she felt a hard mass moving. But anyway, we'll find our tomorrow hopefully.

notalwaysalondoner · 23/09/2020 19:50

This happened on here quite recently when someone was 7 months pregnant... get a decent clearblue test and it should be blindingly obvious if it’s positive... hope all is well!

carly2803 · 23/09/2020 19:53

get a decent pregnancy test - and a doctors appointment!

RantAndDec · 23/09/2020 19:56

Wind can feel really hard and properly solid (like a balloon, which is kind of similar really.) It's either that or a baby, and though people can go far into pregnancy without knowing about it, they don't usually have doctors examining them for pregnancy symptoms and coming up with nothing.

indecisivewoman81 · 23/09/2020 20:03

I think you're pregnant if I'm honest and probably quite far gone if you can feel it high up under your ribs.

Pregnancy tests can be negative late on due to the hook effect. You need a scan quite quickly I would say!!

Good luck keep us posted x
