I'm very cross that our local radio station has been taken over and now plays the greatest hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's all the live long day. That's approximately 20 songs on a constant loop.

I've given up on the radio now.

I hate "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran. My kids play it to annoy me.

I hate the lyrics about "I'm in love with your body", "I'm in love with the shape of you". She has no personality. She's just a body. Is that supposed to be romantic?

And also “my bedsheets smell like you” vom

Yeah, some people might see wit and irony, I just see smugness. They're the musical equivalent of a political student theatre group who wear anarchist symbols on their army surplus bags but get annoyed that their friends don't want to pay £15 to see their tedious, preachy installation pieces that are nowhere near as clever as they think they are.

Argh. That last post was about the Beautiful South - I tried to quote someone and it didn't work.

Anything by ; Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding (breathy +weird voice), Simply Red- dirge with a capital D

And "Happy'- no Pharrell; I don't want to sing along, I don't like it

The thing about this thread is that I now have "she's a perfect ten but she wears a twelve, dancing in the moonlight, see a painted sign by the side of the road, that says fifteen miles to the love sh...... I'm in love with the shape of you, push and pull like a magnet do...." running through my head like the world's worst mash up! I only came on here to try and outfox my insomnia, no chance of that now!😂 It's interesting how we all seem to dislike the same awful songs though.

Not sure if the name but the song about dancing monkey. It's quite new I think but when it comes on the radio I have to turn it off, it's such an annoying song.
