I'm divorcing DH soon and hoping to just change my name to something I like. I've been saddled with his since the age of 18 Smile

What's your favourite surname? I think I might go with 'Knight'

I’d love to say Fox is perfect.

However my 14 year old daughter’s most strident admirer has Fox as his first name.

However her name is brilliant with Fox as a surname and I really think he’d love being called Fox Fox

Phillipson-Masters. Forbes P-M played for
Southampton FC in the 1970s. A great double barrel that couldn't be made up.

@BathshebaKnickerStickers Grin

I knew a Chase Fox when I was younger. I always wonder if his parents did it on purpose.

I think Fox is hard to beat, but my first thought was Challis which I love. My maiden name has been mentioned a few times, not sure why I changed itConfused
Challis reminds me of those green trailers very evident in the Midlands and East Anglia over several decades - S T Challis - green, white with red grills. Noticed, but not quite like Eddie Stobart trucks.

I used to know of a dentist whose surname was Lawson-Light. This was several decades ago so I didn't think anything of it at the time but it sounds pretty cool now. The sort of name a grime artist might adopt.

I like some Italian surnames like Spinetti and Capaldi. They're probably still alive and well in parts of Bedfordshire and Scotland with established Italian expatriate populations. DePledge and Lomax are interesting but obscure - they sound vaguely French but probably aren't!
