Cam girl?

133 replies

chamenamed · 23/08/2020 02:49

I recently drew out some money to pay for a service.

Somehow this money has now gone missing and I need a quick way to make 750

Any ideas? Or any cam girls on here with experience?

@Suzi888

Credit card? Overdraft? Borrow it? Sell something? Surely someone knows where it is if you’ve been shielding. Where did you put this money?
I have poor credit but I will try to do an overdraft.

I have a hoover I could sell I guess. Not much else though. A few items of dc's old clothing.

@DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult

£750 for an oven Shock

You've been robbed twice.

Not just an oven. Problems with a lot of wiring.

But why are YOU paying it if you're in rented accommodation? Wiring is the responsibility of the landlord, as it is part of the fabric of the building.

DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult · 24/08/2020 00:24

Problem solved then, your landlord needs to pay for the wiring problems in their property.

OnceUponALorry · 24/08/2020 00:38

Am I drunk ?

I deducted from the rent.

Drew it out.

Either that or be a hooker! Wink

lovelymm · 24/08/2020 01:32

Why are you paying at all if you're renting?

Frownette · 24/08/2020 01:34

Out of curiosity, how did you come up with the idea of doing cam work?

chamenamed · 24/08/2020 01:37

@lovelymm

I explained already. I forwarded the invoice to my landlord and deducted from the rent for that month.

Watched a documentary, Louis Theroux, a few weeks back.

Was thinking that or phone sex.

Jesus...
Maybe the 'story' is actually, you know, true?
And the OP is panicking and casting around for a way to make up £750 (a huge amount if a lone parent on benefits)
The ironing sound the best suggestion so far, OP.
You could potentially do that safely over the next month to recoup at least some of the £750 (my bet's your Ex took it, or landlords sparky?)

Your Landlord should allow you to pay it in installments (or adjust rent next month) if it is for wiring to his property (as well as the oven)

Don't do camwork if you can possibly avoid it xx

hammie46i · 24/08/2020 08:54

@chamenamed

I have to pay my electrician. It's non negotiable.

I do not work.

I just need to find a way to replace the cash that I lost.

I already snap all my receipts, do surveys etc but that won't amount to £750 quickly.

Are you OK with your naked body and face being broadcast across porn websites for years to come? Possibly being recognised in public?

The cam girl stuff isn't private or for one person. It's duplicated and broadcasted extensively across the internet, you have no control over who sees you.

Don't do it unless you're willing to put yourself out there in this way and to always have it out there forevermore.

LovingLola · 24/08/2020 09:01

Have you spoken to your ex and the electrician?

Frownette · 24/08/2020 09:08

There was a poster on here who said that she'd done telephone sex work as a student and was scalded by the experience - it doesn't seem like a good idea to me about the cam work.

Ironing sounds better.

LynetteScavo · 24/08/2020 09:10

Although, to be fair, you could still be scolded by a stream iron.

I don’t believe a word of this but on the off chance that it’s true: the market is completely oversaturated because of people looking for something to do while they are indoors with no work due to Covid. Including many women who are experienced in sex work (strippers) with lots sexy stripper clothes. They are struggling to make any money at all. You won’t make £750. You would have to spend the equivalent of full time hours marketing yourself, finding a niche, and constantly talking to men to develop relationships with them and make them want to pay you. You don’t seem charming enough to do that, and if you have a disability plus children to take care of you’re not going to have the time or stamina, either.

user1471565182 · 24/08/2020 12:08

So you're shielding but have had your mother, random workmen, your mother around, and you are being charged for the wiring in your landlord's property?

user1471565182 · 24/08/2020 12:08

LovingLola · 24/08/2020 12:49

She is not being charged. The landlord reduced the rent by £750.
