I'm awake because my asshole neighbours teens are having another party(regular occurrence) and it's just shouting and screaming,music and fighting in the street 😭

One DD who is sleepy and now very agitated!

Why are you awake?

Can never sleep before 2ish but at work in 7 hours so I really am trying! Although not trying that hard as I'm pissing about on my phone...

I work night shift but now have a few days off. I struggle to switch back to regular hours and rarely fall asleep before 3am.

I'm watching The Bridge. 4 episodes this evening, ep 4 just starting. I'm going to push on through with it.

Because I'm a bit of a night owl and normally awake at this time.

Yes I suppose the night is still Young for the night owls out there!i go to my bed at 9pm usually so this is during the night for me 😭

Breastfeeding my 4 week old and hoping she might be happy to sleep afterwards 🤞

Because I've just got my Mum off the bloody phone (she's overseas).

A bit annoying as she was discussing some serious stuff that needs a good thinking about, so my mind is whirling. Just what I need at midnight and I'll be awake by 4:20 (rarely sleep past that)

I’m rewatching line of duty in preparation for the new series and at a really good bit so one more drink it is

Because I'm still trying to settle into my new house, I'm home alone and struggling to fall asleep and I probably shouldn't have spent the day with the X-Files on!

Because DD is not in yet, but is inbound (will be last to be dropped off by shared taxi as apparently one of her mates is worse for wear and needs to be seen home properly)

I've got cats to pet, Spotify to listen to and a husband to get back from a shift hahaha! Though I've been pulling a lot of all nighters recently xx

I'm 8 months pregnant and need a wee every 5 mins plus dh is snoring which isn't helping

I've had a day with my parents, siblings and their families, got home at 10.30pm to find my partner (who refused to come, stayed up all last night and went to bed at 9.30am) is still in bed.

I'm still up because I'm annoyed with him. Debating just going to bed and getting over it, or sleeping on the sofa!

Lying awake worrying about my old horse and wondering if the time has come :-(

Because DD1/2/3 wanted to watch another episode of Line of Duty. 🥰

Because I’ve got 6 weeks off work and as each day passes I go to bed later and wake later. Monday 1st of september is going to be a bitch!

DH has a cough - going to get him to call the covid line tomorrow - he's just got up to go to the loo - take paracetamol - cough more

I've been given notice of redundancy at work. We're on holiday so I've been plastering on a smile, but now everyone's asleep I'm awake and fretting.

Feel your pain tronkmanton have similar decision to make about my old boy as he isn’t going to cope with another winter. Have had him over 20 years and can’t imagine life without him.

Work nights saving for advanced degree statrting in October so when not on shift I just sleep whenever I seem to get tired
