@Parkandride congratulations! Lovely news.

Sorry to everyone who is up with troubles Flowers

Woke up just before 3pm needing the bathroom and hungry as I had dinner very early. Had a snack - which generally sends me back to sleep (hot cocoa, toasted dark rye sourdough and cheese since you ask 😁)
But foolishly opened up Mumsnet and fighting sleeeep... 😴

Happynow001 · 17/08/2020 05:57

Oops. 3AM not 3pm..

LimitIsUp · 17/08/2020 06:56

Woke at 5 am. It's down to the Ofqual exam algorithm. Dd was marked down in one of her A levels and I haven't slept properly since, particularly since ds is due to go through the same shit show when results are out for GCSEs on Thursday

Because darling DP set no fewer than 3 early alarms to get him up for the gym.

He has not got up for the gym HmmHmmHmm

incognitomum · 17/08/2020 07:06

Parkandride many best wishes.

Now EX DP used to do that, drove me mad as he would go back to sleep after deciding he didn't actually fancy the early morning gym/run after all, but I was awake for the day. Nothing I said made a blind bit of difference I should have seen the writing in the wall then! But it's hard to leave someone for 'setting an alarm - even though the reason is really 'utter bloody selfishness'
HowFastIsTooFast · 17/08/2020 08:58

@MJMG2015 I woke him up in the end and he sheepishly departed for the gym. Since then I've had a very apologetic text.

He doesn't often go before work but couldn't be bothered on Saturday so decided to make up for it today

MJMG2015 · 18/08/2020 14:33

Oh well, at least he went (or says he did -LOL- what's the Café like?!)

I hope things are better for you & it doesn't end up the same way!! My Ex was lovely in many ways, but just got more & more self centred and entitled, until - well, doesn't matter! I just hope yours was being a one off twat!!
