Elle DeGeneres - the backlash

They say James Corden is the favourite to step in to her shoes. I always liked her if I ever caught the show. The A listers seemed to want to be on the show and now there seems to be a backlash. I remember the DV rumours on here. If its all behind the scenes with the staff how much power did she have over their behaviours, what if she never even knew? It seems a shame when she went through all that after coming out publicly and how no one in tv would touch her. Its sad really.

I'm not quite sure what difference her brother's good opinion really makes?! Nor that of her friends?
Nobody's accused her of being mean to her friends, or treating her family like shit, so why they think their opinion carries any weight is beyond me...

The three producers have been sacked.

I have never liked Ellen. As other posters have suggested, her smile doesn’t quite reach her eyes. I am not surprised to hear that she is a bully because she certainly comes across as one

If the current crop, the best chat show host is Graham Norton. One often gets to see the real person behind the celebrity persona which is great .

There was a story in the mail I think from a waitress who said that EDG contacted her manager to complain the waitress had served her with chipped nail polish. The waitress said she hadn't had time to fix it between shifts but the restaurant still tried to dock her pay. If that's true, it's an awful thing to do to a minimum wage worker.

Not a fan either and agree with most previous comments as to why.

I love Oprah Winfrey. I feel her to be totally sincere.
I imagine Oprah has a temper as we do, but I also imagine she is mostly what she appears to be.

Ellen just seems totally and utterly fake. A media construct that turns on and off with the cameras.
