They’re trying to flush some people out then, surely? That’s got to be tactics! They’re trying to scare some suspects and see what action that provokes.

I think when abusers kill themselves before trial/conviction, whilst on the one hand you can see exactly why someone might do that rather than spending the rest of their life in prison, it feels like they're taking the last thing they can (justice) from the victim by taking control of their own destiny out of everyone else's hands.

Yes exactly that. They are still the one with the power calling all the shots. When Epstein killed him self i was devastated and terrified. It really affected me. I remember reading a book about an abuse scandal at longcare where the perpetrator committed suicide (see www.disabilitynewsservice.com/longcare-survivors-the-biography-of-a-care-scandal/) and so I was already aware (and terrified) this would be a possibility.

Once you have made the decision to report and try and get justice, you just want it to happen, and to have that chance stolen by the man who abused you is just the final act of abuse of power.

it's not a great look for team Brenda if one of the senior Royals in "the firm" is forever condemned to opening fetes by Zoom because they are afraid of being extradited to the US.

Andrew’s days of representing the Royals, by Zoom or otherwise, are in the past.

I’m glad she has been arrested and I hope she cooperates (unlikely, I know).

@DGRossetti I think that all Andrew has to do to avoid arrest is sit tight and not leave U.K./Europe, but I’m not totally sure.

Do you think the US would really make an application to extradite him? I can’t see that Britain would ever allow an extradition to go through, in any case.

He wouldn't be arrested anyway. He will answer questions which he can do here as easily as in the states.

With Maxwell it's a whole different ball game. She aided and abetted Epstein, acted as a sort of 'madam'.

If Prince Andrew can't sweat, how on Earth does his body regulate his internal temperature when it's hot. Sweating has a vital role in the body.

Going back to what was announced on the news the prosecutor said she will be looking to arrest those that were recruiting with Ghislaine that were over the age of consent at the time. Does she mean some of those women that were on the documentary? That were abused then sent out to recruit?

What he meant was, not sweat as most people do, not sweat much. If the weather is very hot he wees a lot.

Actually, I hope she is offered a plea bargain. It would send a very clear message if the rich and famous were prosecuted over this. She could put a lot of people behind bars for a very long time.

I’m astounded that she’s been found alive. I assumed that she’d just “vanished” to a far flung land or already been disposed of.

I'm pleased and intrigued by the fact that shes been arrested....but saddened by the many who think the whole thing will be hushed up. Other smaller things can come out, but the powerful people in this story will be protected. I think that's sad.

I've just watched Bombshell, about Megyn Kelly and the sex abuse scandal at Fox News. They did it, against the odds. Me, I hope heads roll in this current scenario.
