I could do ice skating, but not with the pudding-heads - they don't have the right sort of feet! Grin

Back in the summer, the scientists were working on a vaccine for the virus. The vaccine is now ready, and older people are receiving it first. Francis, Josephine and Cynthia are waiting eagerly outside the clinic.

Algernon, Lucius and Emmeline are also keen to be vaccinated.

King Athelstan and Queen Edith are setting a good example by having the vaccine.

Queen Edith has her vaccination. "It didn't hurt a bit!" she says.

So glad to see Queen Edith and King Athelstan setting such a good example!

ChessieFL · 09/12/2020 13:26

Loving Cynthia’s hat. Definitely important to be well dressed for being vaccinated.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 09/12/2020 13:30

Great to see Playmoland has been so organised in getting their vaccine programme off the ground so fast! Well done clever Playmo scientists! I hope they’re in line for awards in the Playmo New Year honours.

Horsemad · 09/12/2020 13:40

Loving the vaccination scenes, SoMuch. 🙂

FuzzyPuffling · 09/12/2020 13:45

Lovely scenes! Well done those Playmos!

nosswith · 09/12/2020 14:34

Is there a crying politician in Playmoland? Or a medical advisor who uses lots of metaphors?

SoMuchToBits · 09/12/2020 14:46

Grin It's a bit difficult to make Playmobil people cry. They always look so happy!

Is that why Norman doesn’t do a daily briefing with the number of dead?
SoMuchToBits · 09/12/2020 15:09

I'm not sure they have too many deaths in Playmoland... they don't make any undertakers or funeral scenes. Maybe their lockdowns have been very successful in reducing cases and ensuring nobody gets very ill. Confused

They make a pyramid. Perhaps ancient Egyptian death rituals are still popular?

I am sure you are right though, their lockdown has worked. I think there is also not much obesity and maybe high vitamin D because they seem to do a lot of outdoor exercise.

SoMuchToBits · 09/12/2020 15:21

Yes, and the weather always seems nice. Usually sunny, even if they've had snow...

I’m glad King Athelstan and Queen Edith wore their crowns whilst getting vaccinated!

SoMuchToBits · 09/12/2020 21:31

They don't want to let standards slip - even in a pandemic! Wink

Just to let you all know, there won't be any scenes for a few days. I'm working tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, and need to get my hair cut etc on Friday. Might manage something early next week though! Smile

Bits your scenes are a lovely treat, but we all need to have something to look forward to and a bit of a surprise too.

SoMuchToBits · 10/12/2020 21:26

Thank you elephant. Would like to do something next week, but will have to see how I feel after the weekend at work. Today was shift from hell and I feel a bit broken. Sad

Sorry you've had a rubbish day at work @SoMuchToBits. 😟

Hopefully you are snuggled up getting an early night and regrouping.

petalpower · 10/12/2020 21:48

Oh no SoMuch. Sorry to hear that today was rubbish. Were you back in your usual place if work or still in the different one? Hope your next shift is better.

SoMuchToBits · 10/12/2020 21:50

I'm having a glass of Wine and trying to chill. But need to get up not too late tomorrow for hair cut, then try to relax before working Sat and Sun, which will probably be similar to today. I'm sure it's not this bad in Greenchester General Hospital!
