We are going to Alton towers
Wish I’d held off booking tickets as the weather is much better on Sunday than Saturday
And we have to wear masks on the rides

Staying home and staying safe!

It's quite safe out there, try not to panic.

I'm off to a lovely Spanish restaurant, can't wait!

CMOTDibbler · 01/07/2020 09:10

Going swimming at the lake (its very distanced), and then going home and out for a run.
We are still taking things very cautiously as MIL is terminally ill and we want to see her as much as possible, so she can have a decent few last weeks

megletthesecond · 01/07/2020 09:11

Going for a run then staying at home.

Going to an amazing restaurant for a big fat fillet steak and cocktails!

mouse70 · 01/07/2020 09:16

Will be doing exactly same as I have been doing all these weeks. Staying home. Avoiding the idiots who think it is all over.

BonnyWeeOne · 01/07/2020 09:17

Not necessarily staying in but staying away from crowds, I won't be rushing headlong into public spaces.
The PPs reckoning on no carnage and good little landlords not breaking rules are in cloud cuckoo land!
Yeah, the ones that are right under the police and publics nose will be forced to behave but there's thousands of bars that'll fall under the radar and they will take advantage. And the police will probably not be able to do a single thing about the ones they do attend, the beaches last week are proof of that.

userxx · 01/07/2020 09:17

@nancy75 All the pubs around here are reservation only with table service, no one will be standing on the street drinking - that's wasn't even allowed before COVID.

AuntieMarys · 01/07/2020 09:19

Dinner at local restaurant

Fattyboom · 01/07/2020 09:19

We would have gone for a stroll to our favourite local and spent the afternoon there, but they aren't doing bookings so we won't bother - judging by Facebook it's going to be mega busy, so we'd be unlikely to get in

Wecandothis99 · 01/07/2020 09:20

I'm looking forward to going to the pub but am not so desperate to go Saturday, I'm defo going for a walk past all the locals to see how it looks though, and if looks ok then trying and book for a roast on an upcoming weekend

NickMarlow · 01/07/2020 09:21

We will be going to a playground. Dds are 5 and 2, dd2 spent weeks pointing longingly at slides when we went for walks. She's given up asking now. Can't wait to let them play in a park again!

Theforest · 01/07/2020 09:30

No idea but something similar to the last 3 months. Ie staying in

Pascha · 01/07/2020 09:30

Round to mils Saturday as its DH's birthday weekend. Local forestry place cycling on Sunday with a picnic and a Colin the caterpillar cake for afterwards.

Absolutely no plans to eat in anywhere.

Monkeybunkey · 01/07/2020 09:31

Haircut and possibly a pint (the pub is next door to the hairdressers).

BlooperReel · 01/07/2020 09:34

Gardening, I expect people to be out en mass and I want no part of it

Changeofsceneryisgood · 01/07/2020 09:34

I'm treating myself to a box dye for hair, a large bar of chocolate, a walk and junk tv from one of my many trash subscription channels.

poupeediop · 01/07/2020 09:35

Nothing, hate crowds

Changeofsceneryisgood · 01/07/2020 09:36

@Wecandothis99 that sounds a good plan.
A pub roast is something I've been thinking about for a while!

heartsonacake · 01/07/2020 09:36

@Bimblepops

Staying home and staying safe!
Yup, this.
poupeediop · 01/07/2020 09:37

I should have said nothing special. Will go for a bike ride, drinks in garden with family & have a takeaway but that's not vastly different to all our other weekends during lockdown.

moveandmove · 01/07/2020 09:38

Staying home and studying.

MarcelineMissouri · 01/07/2020 09:38

On Saturday I am going to the hairdressers to get my skin test done for my appointment the week after.
Sunday we have booked a table at one of our favourite restaurants. Very excited but slightly apprehensive about what it will feel like!

Baby steps!

TeddyIsaHe · 01/07/2020 09:40

I’m desperate for a proper pint, but I’ll be staying home. Drunk people are idiots and I don’t want my city in lockdown again.

labazsisgoingmad · 01/07/2020 09:42

homesitting thats part of our pet care we do. got a fortnight in the country going to be hard miss my partner and animals but what needs doing needs must.
they have an oldish dog hes fine but they have now got a puppy who needs training but hes not doing too well at it. they asked me if i could do a bit of training with him.
obviously she thinks i am a dog whisperer!

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 01/07/2020 09:49

Hiring a pressure washer and cleaning my patio.

Drinking gin on my clean patio.
