Screw that, no i dont lol

PurpleDaisies · 28/06/2020 22:50

Mine just go in with the regular wash.

PinkBuffalo · 28/06/2020 22:51

Never hand wash. Do not even put them in a mesh bag! Everything gets shoved in the machine and washed all together (never separate light/white clothes either! )

Yes, because of the wires, and because they cost £35 each.

Torvi · 28/06/2020 22:53

I put them in the machine on delicates. Bras only.

bluefoxmug · 28/06/2020 22:53

my bras last pretty ok.
I wear them a good few years before the elastic stops being elastic.
so why does the label say that if machinewashing seems ok?

OP posts:
Bettercallgall · 28/06/2020 22:53

No because they were 3 for £15 and I can't be assed with that. Life's to short to be faffing around hand washing things.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 28/06/2020 22:53

Nope. Anything that needs to be worn daily should be machine washable. Putting “hand wash only” on bras is a cop out to stop companies having to replace damaged bras. They know perfectly well that 99.9% of women machine wash bras.

Skyliner001 · 28/06/2020 22:53

No

bluefoxmug · 28/06/2020 22:54

I don't have torture devices wired bras

Itisbetter · 28/06/2020 22:55

Any can’t they be made properly machine washable?

Whycantibetangy · 28/06/2020 22:55

Nope, they go in the wash with the regular washing. Never ever tumble dry them though

formerbabe · 28/06/2020 22:56

My dh had to take apart the washing machine because the wire came out of my bra and got trapped. I wash them in a pillow case now.

gamerchick · 28/06/2020 22:57

I hook them together and put them on a cold 20 rinse with a splatter of Epson salts or dettol antibacterial laundry stuff.

Bras hate heat, that's all. Wash them on cold.

gamerchick · 28/06/2020 22:57

*20 min

caramac04 · 28/06/2020 22:57

Only with my expensive (IMO) Bravissomo sports bra. I machine washed it by mistake and ruined it.
Others I machine wash.

bluefoxmug · 28/06/2020 23:01

I agree with a pp. a garment that is worn close to the body needs to be easily washable.
maybe bravissimo is not a good as they claim then...

OP posts:
dementedpixie · 28/06/2020 23:01

I put them in a mesh bag and wash in the machine

Deelish75 · 28/06/2020 23:02

Nope. Fasten the back and put them in the machine on a normal 40 wash.

bluefoxmug · 28/06/2020 23:03

I wash lunchbags in the washer as well.
that's what the 20 min quickwash is for.

OP posts:
QueenCT · 28/06/2020 23:04

Hand wash. I use soak liquid so literally soak in the sink while I shower, take out of sink and hang up. Not hard work in any way and at £40 a bra, I want them to last!

IAintentDead · 28/06/2020 23:07

I use a bra bag - and stick them in with other stuff at 39 degrees

IAintentDead · 28/06/2020 23:08

*30 degrees

MissMarplesHandbag · 28/06/2020 23:08

God no, who has time for that.

Prettybluepigeons · 28/06/2020 23:09

Little warning. The other day I popped two undewired bras in a net bag and put them in the machine with my other stuff. The wires popped and SMASHED the glass door on my one year old washing machine. Glass everywhere.
