I have put the lottery on tonight, and when I win.. I'm buying this!

What do you think?

I have just seen the Cheshire one only so far.
The swimming pool is very small.
I quite like the decor but think that the property is overpriced.
Mind you if they were open to offers for the car Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 24/06/2020 06:45

The decoration is terrible. Trying to make it look like a Scottish castle does t quite work.

4amWitchingHour · 24/06/2020 06:53

I hate boring grey and beige decor, but that's like a Footballers Wives meets Laura Ashley wet dream Confused

DuineArBith · 24/06/2020 07:04

I'd go for the Devon place like a shot if I could sell off all the horsy stuff in the grounds. And provided the owners are taking the four poster beds with them.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 24/06/2020 08:07

I love the London house but isn’t the Hammersmith flyover just behind it? It needs to be moved along the Thames a bit .... Chiswick/Kew ... but then it would be even more £

NemesiaPinkLagoon · 24/06/2020 08:13

Confused about the balcony - it seems to overlook the driveway, what's the point?!

And the outside looks like a Love Island villa! All the life designed out of it.

Controversially, I quite like the wallpaper on the stairs however.

Mightymurphy · 24/06/2020 08:21

I love that but don’t like the decor. That’s easily changed though.

TheShapeJaper · 24/06/2020 08:44

Well I love it

CormoranStrike · 24/06/2020 08:51

It’s not for me - my dream lottery house costs less that £350k.

It’s a lovely family home, bigger than I have now and with lovely views. Fingers crossed!

hedgehogger1 · 24/06/2020 09:22

I look at it and think you'd need a full time cleaner coz as soon as you'd finished you'd have to start again. Mind you if you're spending that on a house you prob Have one. And a handy man for all the upkeep

EggysMom · 24/06/2020 09:24

I didn't win the lottery.

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 24/06/2020 11:17

Want want want that Surrey house. Like that is my dream house when I marry a multimillionaire

NoSauce · 24/06/2020 12:00

Too much wallpaper for my liking but the house is nice.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 24/06/2020 12:10

I don't care for the location, you'd be surrounded by footballers. Also if I want bad interior decoration, I can go 5 miles and get this: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/Cresswell.html

Ostanovka · 24/06/2020 12:27

Love the London riverside one! That's beautiful.

Honeyroar · 24/06/2020 12:42

The Surrey one is nice.

CheshireChav · 24/06/2020 13:12

To everyone who says that they don't like the place as it's 'surrounded by footballers' ... do you know the location? It's beautiful, you only see 'the footballers' in Waitrose or Costa (unless you go into the village bars at night) and even then they're pretty low key. The big flash houses are mainly hidden away behind trees or up long drives.

For all it's wankery, A/Edge is a beautiful place.

PuddleglumtheMarshWiggle · 24/06/2020 14:11

Supposed to be a library there, but not many books!
Also swimming pool is rather small. For that price I would like an outdoor pool as well. Oh well, I'll just have to keep looking (and saving!)

labazsisgoingmad · 24/06/2020 14:30

well im moving in to this one

Alderley Edge has always been a lovely, unattainable place to live, for me, anyway! When I was little, we used to go on the train and walk around the Edge, looking for the Wizard's Well. My dad used to say he'd always dreamed of living there, not Longsight! Then I read one of the Maisie Mosco books about the Jewish immigrants to Manchester at the turn of the century, and in one chapter a boy visits a schoolfriend who lives in Alderley, and they have tea, served by a maid on a beautiful lawn! It's obviously never really changed!

Mrsmadevans · 24/06/2020 14:51

[quote Gertie75]Same price but in a much nicer area and a lot more for your money.

Absolutely beautiful !

MerryDeath · 24/06/2020 15:05

love how it's got a bit of colour. i can't bear how bland everything is these days.

SisterAgatha · 24/06/2020 15:16

You can’t relax in the Devon one, it looks like a museum.

ItsJustTheOneSwanActually · 24/06/2020 15:24

That pile in Devon is amazing
