I was wondering today about a few old posters that either left or I haven’t seen in ages
Riven , eatshitderek (i think that’s what the username was) and another one I can’t remember the full name ghost something who was in temp accommodation I think ?
Does anyone else ever wonder about posters they dont see anymore

Artandco always came across as nauseatingly smug and irritating! I suppose that may have been the poster's intention, given they were making it all up.

I don’t know who it was who coined these phrases but my DD’s BF (who is living with us during lockdown) has left the washing out on the line and all I can think of is that it is going to get darked on and don’t even mention the spider willies.

I remember Somerville not too long ago. She was the lady who lost her husband and found happiness again.

I was dating my widower DH around that time so her threads were really helpful.

And who was the lady whose husband died suddenly (in a car crash I seem to remember but could be wrong) and she had 3 young children?

Somerville's child had / has cancer, I think. I remember thinking how awful it was that one person should be dealt such a shit hand.

@slipperywhensparticus, that's the last time I saw Oddsocks too. Someone posted an update for her not long afterwards, but I never saw her again.

roller gosh, yes I remember. Everyone rallied round to help her.

Been here under various guises for over 18 years. I remember Katzgutz, Marslady (Lovely lady), Thomcat, Willow, Riven, Xenia, Shiney and Cod to name a few. I also remember Moondog who was a poster I felt was very abrupt and curt but I think she had a a good following on here

Out of curiosity does anyone remember... It may have been MN or maybe going back to the I village days a poster by the name of Jen something and there was a big controversy around her. It's always on the edge of my memories but can't place it.
